just beat the final final boss of octopath on my third try!!!!!!!

A kaiju-esque beast, though small, an undernourished shrimp of whatever variety of mutated bird, had unleashed an attack on innocents. It struck through first and second floor windows, trying to get at the people inside, and when that failed, swooped above the streets. Targeting a fruit stand who’s owner quickly ran away, it let out several shrieks.

A few minutes ago, that is. Now - Brad lets out a yell, bringing his leg down on the bird from above. Snap. Both of it’s wings are disabled, and when Brad jumps backwards to make distance again, anticipating it to try to peck at him again, it simply raises it’s head to the sky and screams.

Brad’s not paying any mind to any of the remaining people in the streets, running away, though he does notice when Rex appears, cocking an eye Rex’s way.
