Osian was more than used to druids. He had lived most of his short life in the High Forest after all, where most of the magically inclined folks in his village were druids. So it wasn't that this large bear had transformed into a man that stunned him, but the broad size of the elf before him. Here Osian thought his father was the most hulking elf he had ever seen.
But his nerves were quickly vanquished when he heard how soft spoken Halsin was. He seemed someone the young wizard could trust... And so, at the tiefling celebration days later, Osian found himself on the outskirts of the party, spinning his goblet of wine almost to the rim, his expression weighed down with concern, but he quickly tried to erase it from his face when he heard footsteps coming closer.
"Ah, Halsin," Osian spoke in Wood Elvish - it felt good to be in his mother tongue for a change. "I hope you're enjoying the festivities. Do you...uh...need help with anything?" Socialising was still not his strong suit. - from imperitvs
Halsin didn't quite know what to make of the young Elven wizard just yet or any of the group really but they had rescued him from the goblins and needed his help. He would do all he could to aid them. In the morning he would explain about the Shadowcurse and the dangers ahead. But for tonight he wished to let everyone enjoy the happy moment.
It was as he was walking around that he noticed the young wizard off alone. Well, there was no time like the present to begin getting to know one another.
"I thought to ask you the same question my friend." Halsin replied in the same language, chuckling slightly and giving the smaller male a warm smile. "You seem to have much on your mind tonight."
