A couple Snoopers on log slices I chainsawed, sanded, drew on, and oiled myself as holiday thank yous/commemorations to my co-workers Bee and Aisha for all the hard work we did for [Orange Store] last month on a 8'x16' mural and additional pieces.

Got my first few whittle commisions recently and here is one of them. Wirt and Greg from Over the garden wall. They turned out so well it was almost hard to give them away but I know my friend will appreciate and take good care of them.

Whittled in pine wood, coloured with acrylic washes as to keep the wood grain visible, covered with a food safe varnish in case my friend's kids starts chewing on them.

My first ever wood sculpture, it is of my oc Filamilly. She is a girl without a body who uses her hair to create a form

You will see she has flaws such as her right eye being a little messed up but what is a first try without a mistake! She looks a little nervous, coiling her hair like that... It's okay Filamilly..

My idea was to challenge myself to make something flowy and delicate while using a rather bulky material (in this case, wood)

I have created wooden toys in the past, but not a sculpture. This has been carved specifically from oak.
