Put together the frame for the coat rack. Used some cherry and some very simple hand cut dovetails. Pretty happy with how it turned out.

The finish is still drying but it's complete.

One of my favorite things to do with my notebooks and sketchbooks is to draw wood grain on the back. I gave my black drawing paper sketchbook a fittingly spooky back. Yellow for pollen and white for kinda a moldy look really helped make it believable. I actually drew on the duct tape to make it more scratched and outlined because it blended in too well with the acrylic marker under it.
