RECEIVING a Philza Drawing was an honor.
Much like receiving a Techno Carving, really.
The famed King of Hardcore didn't hand out his work lightly, not that there were many people in his life. Sure, he met a lot of people, but that was almost always either for business or battle.
Gifting a drawing meant the recipient meant enough to Phil that he thought of them while drawing. These weren't building plans or quick sketches done by restless hands, no, these were carefully planned and executed. Hours, sometimes days, went into these pieces. They were labors of love and spoke of devotion and care.
Being gifted a Philza Drawing meant you had earned his love.
Beung gifted a Techno Carving meant you'd earned his trust.
Being gifted both meant you'd been adopted and there was no escape.
Conversely, finding Tommy Embroidery on your clothes or handkerchief was common. Tommy gave his love and care freely and without fear. (Of course, this was a double edged sword, but Tommy was a Big Man. He could handle the pain.)
Wilbur's music was also freely given, on the surface. He'd play at any hour with no care for who was listening. It was when he asked if you wanted to hear a song he was working on or he asked for your opinion that you knew you'd earned his trust.
