Minecraft headcanon: Striders hold their young the same way African Jacanas do

CUSHIONS. CUSHIONS. We can sit in vanilla Minecraft. I adore this.

I vote for plushies next. HEAR ME OUT. What if you could place plushies (I usually call them lovies, but for the sake of being understood I will call them plushies here.) around a bed like talismans to ward off phantoms even if you haven't slept. Or at least prevent them from attacking you. They could be simple, like little Steves, dogs, bears, or sheep to reference counting sheep. Maybe they could be crafted with wool, feathers, a cushion, and something a bit more difficult to obtain so as to not necessarily render phantoms obsolete as a mob. It could also be balanced by making it so that the plushies only work as talismans if they are around the bed you have as your spawnpoint or within a certain block radius of a player.

We should have milk splash potions in Minecraft. They could be dispensed from fortress doors to ensure that no one invisible can enter without detection and during combat to neutralize an opponent’s potion effects.

I'd enjoy it if bedspreads in Minecraft could be customized like shields can be with banners. Banner + Bed = customized bedspread.

Milk splash potions could be useful for revealing players with invisibility potions amongst other things.

Mushroom island villager designs

Hopefully put them all in order .

Note-Just my interpretation that I'm using personally for my AU. However, anyone can make villagers using my versions designs or use to make your own inspired designs!

.Due to special magic properties Mycelium seems to possess in large quantities , the mushroom islands is completely free off all hostiles as long as you don't stray too fan from the island barrier reach. This includes unground so far.

. While the water in near the islands are naturally light gray, it harmless to drink/use. The color is a great indication if your still in magical barrier range or not.

.Growing anything is quite tricky. Cobble stone needs to be put down a a barrier of some sort for plants to survive. Mycelium is impossible to grow on. Due to this, Farmer Villagers are considered rare-Seeds and trees are quite hard to come by. Only showing up after storms wash them asore or wandering trades trade them.

. Villagers on these islands are quite clueless of the outside world . Unless Wander trades join their groups.

.These villages generally lack guardians(golem) due to villager only being able to create them when scared. Most don't even know they can do that.

.Mushroom stew and beef and fish is common foods they enjoy. Bread is more special occasion. Including other foods that I'm too lazy to add lol

.Most animals due to the island magic get mushrooms growing on them. Mooshrooms and Cluckshroos are common-(Sheep's and pigs are rare which I need to design and make)Shepherds are rare profession due to this.

minecraft headcanon time! whoooooooo!

whoever built the trial chambers also built the nether fortress. they built the blazes and the breezes in a similar method. ive seen some people online say that the trial chambers could habe been built by pilligers, and i like that.

this also means they likely went to the end, as blaze powder is necessary to get to the end and theres an end portal room in woodland mansions.

igloos were also built by modern day pillagers (bc who ELSE would build them? they had to be built recently bc of the basement)

mineshafts were built by (or at the very least utilized by) the ancient city folks. they had a dual purpose: first to make mining natural resources in other layers easier, but more interesting as mini highways to facilitate trade between them and the surface, sending things like diamonds and riches up, and getting seeds and food sent down.

they probably traded with pillagers? pilligers seem to have a LOT of wool things.

ancient cities may have been built to escape the zombie apocalypse. until it got skulked. either that or they came through the giant portal, trying to (and failing) to escaping the skulk.

the dungeons (or monster spawn rooms, as called by the wiki) are tombs. by looking at the loot there, we can tell that the society of whoever buried their people this way valued horses, music, food (thats mostly gone bad now), riches (both in metals/ore and magic), and possibly trophies of combat.

jungle and desert temples may have also been originally built to be tombs. the loot seems to be pretty similar to the loot in dungeons, so likely the same or similar culture or religion. at least for dealing with the dead. id guess the people buried in these places were a lot richer though.

pilligers and villigers used to be one united people, but at some point they split. when? idk. anything i say was made by pilligers or anythijg done by pilligers may have been a joint effort. besides igloos for obvious reasons. trial chambers were probably also after the split though.

the tombs, ocean ruins, ocean monuments, and ancient cities may or may not have been built by the (p/v)illiger nation people. im leaning not.

trail ruins im thinking maybe were builty by the (p/v)illigers, but if built after the split probably villigers.

Minecraft characters having soap scented like pale moss and spruce trees, rose and glow berries, sweet roses with notes of nether wart, and/or cactus flower and ocean breeze.

I've talked about potions as perfume before, but soap might add additional details to the hygiene of players and how they function in their daily routines. Toothpaste could be crafted from minerals found while mining, clay, charcoal, sea water, and spruce leaves for freshness of flavor.
