They all naturally have very little to none hair. Any significant amount of hair is a genetic oddity. A head full of hair like the Hero's is just absurd to them.

They all speak a shared language, that the Hero cannot understand. But they can understand the Hero. One sided language barrier. There's no work around this barrier.

Although they all seem to be from the same evolutionary branch, the origins and history is long forgotten by them. The term 'testificate' is archaic and not really used.

They all have a shared mythology, but focus on different parts of it.

Bodies in the nether do not rot, so a dead person's flesh is eaten by their family and friends in a ritual to free their soul and guide them to the afterlife. The leftovers such as bones, are then grinded and used to grow crops, mushrooms or fight the spreading of nether wastes. It is believed that if the ritual isn't done right, their souls will get stuck to this world, birthing wither skeletons.

Piglins are encouraged to hunt and kill wither skeletons to free the souls stuck to them. It is also why Piglins are this terrified by their Zombified counterparts, "rot" is a strange worldly concept to them, something that simply should not exist in their holy land.

Headcanon:

Getting revived by totems of undying leaves a golden streak in your hair, or scars of gold where the wounds were (like kintsugi.)

Hc, Alex and steve have very stilted ways of speaking because of their isolation. Steve has a tendency to confuse definite and indefinite articles, e.g “I am sweating like the pig.”, Alex speaks with irregular pacing sort of like g-man.
