Another new favourite: Woolovers Merino teal sweater

I recently discovered Woolovers, a fabulous British brand which makes the most beautiful clothes from wool (as well as silk and cotton). Having always been a fan of anything woolly (!), I was delighted to have the opportunity to collaborate with them. I chose two gorgeous jumpers – the one I’m wearing in these photos, and another merino wool sweater which I will be wearing in tomorrow’s post. They’re so luxurious and pretty that I wanted to spread the post over two days!

Firstly, I did struggle to whittle it down because the website has such a fantastic range! But, with me going to the US on holiday soon, I wanted something that wasn’t too bulky that would go well underneath my warm winter coats. This pure wool Fairisle cardigan in grey, pink and blue (and also available in other colours) did stand out to me. Cardigans are always incredibly useful and I love how they can completely change an outfit. I wear them a lot, but most of mine are in just plain, solid colours and made from cotton. This pure wool option is going to go with so many things of mine that I can’t wait to get experimenting!

Last weekend I wanted the cardigan to stand out so I simply wore a white tee, my skinny jeans and camo ankle boots (which, incidentally, make my legs look super short in these photos because the boots are blending into the background!). I should’ve probably taken the photos on the beach! But then, the cardigan wouldn’t; have stood out quite so much. Decisions, decisions when it comes to photography!

I must say, I love how comfortable this pure wool cardigan is. I had worried it might be a little itchy but not in the slightest. In fact, I barely noticed it on my bare arms beneath. It’s also lovely and warm so I know it’s going to be perfect for my upcoming American trip.

I can’t wait to show you the gorgeous other sweater I chose… but we’ll have to wait until tomorrow!
