Woo has to think about this. It's been awhile since he was asked to do some self reflection. Did he have anything to regret? Well there was a lot, but--

"I think my biggest regret is not being there for Karine, when she was getting sober. She quit cold turkey once she realized she was pregnant, and the complications of her pregnancy caused a lot of stress, as I was also in University and working full time."

Yes, that was a moment he absolutely regretted.

"Seeing her on the floor, collapsed like that--"

He has to stop the tears, keep his breathing calm.

"I was so scared--yet even still she forgave me, but I will never not regret it. the way I acted. The way we argued. It...was a difficult time and I regret often. Those moments."

Karine coming home to seeing Joonwoo made her a special dinner, Elena made her a crayon drawing and then Woo took his hand, Elena's hand and their son's hand and made hand print pictures! He then cut them out, and placed them over a pencil drawing of a stem and leaves and on the paper it says:

"Happy mother's day"

and later on, that night, when the kids are asleep, Joonwoo gives her such a special night and has her crying his name over and over like a mantra as he makes love to her and then, once the passion settles he promises to be with her in this life, the next and every life after.

WooRine domestic fluff headcanons.

Woo sometimes works very late so when he comes home its to a messy house because Karine was to tired after her own work day. So Woo will clean up the toys despite being tired, and uses his wind magic to pick up toys and put them away while he cleans the counter.

Karine preps meals for him and also calls him through out the day to remind him to eat.

Woo lets Elena play in make up. His face looks atrocious but she is so proud of herself for making papa so pretty.

Woo still sends surprise flowers to Karine's cafe.

They have dedicated date night where they stay in and curl up.

They don't often have sex, as Joonwoo is very much gray ace, leaning towards demi gray at times, but when they do, Karine is happy to lay him set the pace and gently encourages him.

Ah yes New Year's eve is rolling around and today finds Karine sitting on the couch, her now precious 7 month old in her arms. Woo is beside her, arm draped protectively over the slender shoulders. This time last year he almost lost her and, in turn, their child.

"I love you."

It's all he could say and all she could say as well. So they sit there in silence while watching some drama, while Elena sleeps soundly, curled up in her mom's arms.

"I hope this year will be better..." karine whispers. "For us."

"It will," he offers in comfort. "I promise."
