Hey guys! So, I just finished working on the Words Collide Klance Zine, and I wanted to share a preview of my work! Here’s an excerpt from my soulmate AU, Color Me Purple:
There is something strangely much more intimate about writing to each other, about the way they both jot down reminders for themselves and each other, about the way their conversations curl up and down their arms, about the way Keith will start a drawing and Lance will finish it, and their reds and blues will meet somewhere in the middle.
Some days, Lance will leave messages in odd places: on his hip, his ankle, the back of his neck--with Rachel’s help--and once, the bottom of his foot. Keith finds them every time, and even though it means that Lance is losing whatever game they’ve made up, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
He thinks that maybe he’s starting to understand what a soulmate is.
