I keep thinking about this one day at work when I was carrying something mildly heavy I guess. And my one coworker (who I consider one of my work dads) says "Oh let me take that for you." And I don't protest cuz he's such a nice guy and well my back did hurt lol. And as he takes the box or whatever he says, "I can't help it, I'm a girl dad-"
Did not hear the rest of the sentence and don't remember it. I don't think he knew the image that phrase would evoke but I love him so much for it. Forever my girl dad.
I never realised how much i love my work dad.
Until my brain started imagining things that arent gonna happen. Now im crying.
I really do love him. He's the best. He makes my days so much better. Even if I'm only seeing him as he goes home and i turn up.
This man doesnt know how much he means to me.
Some of the staff know i love him but they probs just think nothing of it. Oh the autistic kid has a favourite. Thats it.
I dont know what id do without him
Im in tomorrow and so is he. I hope i get to work with him at somepoint before he goes home at 5.

Dear Gus & Magnus,
While working this morning in the Rogers office, I saw one of our engineers walk by the office I was using with his two sons right behind him. Not sure what his situation was, but when I walked by his office and saw him looking out with his boys in the background, it cracked me up. He looked like a caged animal biding his time.
