Because my brain sees the idea of writing in a linear fashion and says “no, fuck you”. I have a WIP of over 300k words that is 3 posts from end. I have 50% of the next post, 100% of the one after and when I was sitting down to my computer today, I had 3k words of the Epilogue and no idea how to actually finish it.
Now I have 4k+ words of the Epilogue and it’s 100% done.
But the next post is still half written and nothing moved there today.
Because why write in order if you can start from the tail end and go backwards, right?
