Okay I know these are SUPER blurry but the dwarf shrimp at work (who are already TINY shrimps) had even TINIER babies!!! The adults are only around an inch big, and the babies are smaller than grains of rice (or maybe about the size of a small grain of rice), so you can imagine the pain my phone was in trying to focus on them through the glass and water.

It looks like there’s a couple dozen of them all told; I know they won’t all make it, but I did a surface water change rather than a vacuum like normal (because I suspected that they might be Around) and when I poured the new water (gently!!) in, they all came out and started zipping around and looking busy. I’m so geeked to watch them grow up!

2 out of 4 of my work kitties. The mom I nanny for has 4. Brandy(left) and Diamond(right) have literally been there since I started. I’m talking 5 years, part of it 5 days a week, 4 hours during the school year and 10 hours during the summer. I have bonded with them like the kids. Brandy greets me at the door. Far cry from running in fear in the beginning. She likes gets cuddles from me. Diamond is the master of bitch face. Sitting on the toilet, bitch face. Sitting on the fridge bitch face. Petting her bitch face. She is judging you always. But loves to lay on my leg while digging her claws wanting to be petted. I love them. Going to miss them when my time is down with this family.
