PSA from your local florist: if you are planning to get flowers for loved ones on valentines day, place the order for them now. If your loved one isn't a stickler for dates then get them delivered a couple days early, because florists are slammed as fuck on valentines. If you plan to just grab a grocery store bouquet then buy it a day or so early and put them in your fridge or anywhere else cold like a garage (so long as it doesn't get to freezing temps because that will kill them faster than room temperature)
If your loved one is far away, look up florists in their area on google maps and place an order to one of them instead of teleflora or FromYouFlowers because those giant online services just take 30% of the money and run, leaving less money for the bouquet. And let me tell you a 40$ bouquet is way nicer than a 28$ one. If you're paying 40$ you want to actually get the 40$ bouquet.
Also don't give lilies to someone if they have allergies or cats. They aggravate a lot of ppls hayfever and there's like a 50/50 chance the cat will die. A dead cat is a very bad valentines gift.
yoooo lucilles backkkk. whats up? howsd yourt vacation stuff go?
It was actually very bad and awful!! I was very sad!! Thanks for asking!! I am totally happy and cool and beautiful and normal again though!! Yay!! How have you been!! [ WAKEN ]: the receiver wakes up in bed, having been found unconscious by the sender and carried into the bed from the floor. // for Hanzo
CARING FOR THE SICK PROMPTS.
Wakefulness comes with the feeling of an untamed fire in his veins, a heat not of his doing, a flame out of his control. He boils, his body seeking to burn away the poison stabbed straight into his heart by a treacherous insect.
Hair sticks to his face as eyes open wearily and he's met with a dimly lit location unfamiliar to him - no longer does the acrid scent of the blood ocean fill his senses, no waves crashing against a rocky shore. He is alone in near complete darkness, and there is nothing grounding him here, no sign apparent of whoever brought him here.
It takes tremendous effort, a terrible weakness making it near impossible to move, but Hanzo forcibly pulls himself into a seated position, wariness filling his mind as he rests against the wall behind his back - his breathing shallow, he barely has the strength to raise an arm or hold his head up.
If he stares at the shadows in the room, he can feel them staring back at him.
Months ago I found 3 Beatles picture in our workshop's storage, torn out from probably Robert Freeman's book, left behind by a client years ago. (It's usucapio, baby!! But in reality I just asked the og owner, bc they are regular clients.)
Behold my ugly pictures!!
After I got over the fact that nobody from the family bothered to look through the stored pictures for years and offer me these (despite knowing I'm a fan!) I decided I will try to frame at least one.
Sadly we had the most work to do at that moment (it was holiday craze), so I had to do it soooo very slowly, concurrently with my more important Actual Job.
Which is also partly the reason why I took the most quick and terrible pictures. I wanted to document the stages!
First I had to do the "kasírozás" (mounting?) which makes it smooth and nice. Then I had to choose a "paszpartú" (mat/matte). I'm not exactly in love with my final choice: usually I love the dark mat + light frame pairing (decidedly less popular than the light mat + darker frame match), but the black seems a bit too much. That being said, we had that one lying around, a residue piece, and I can't actually waste the new and good stuff on myself. So black was chosen, with a white frame.
Also, I selected a normal glass, which ofc has the annoying glaze problem, but I cannot waste anti-reflective or museum glass on this lol. (Tho it's much easier to photograph those...)
Then I added it to my collection! I had to get off my framed master degree (written in latin!) so I could put the Beatle stuff at one place. Nobody can say I'm not a committed fan...
