Why do dog owners always act like their fucking dog can "cure" you of your fear of dogs?

This lady encouraged her stupid dog to follow me until I was literally screaming no and hiding behind display fixtures at work.

Hint: it's not a service dog if they take the vest and leash off in public and this fucking thing was just free to wander.

I don't care how "gentle" or "nice" or "sorry" your dog is.

I work in an army supply store, not a pet store. I do not have to be friends with your dog. I'm allowed to be afraid of your dog. You're not allowed to bring your fake service dog in here, but since it's illegal for us to ask if it's a service dog you do anyway.

Yesterday's work day ran me 9am-9:45pm. I'm so glad it's over (I say today as I'm sitting in the bathroom at work while my feet ache, and it is only 9:30am).

The wedding photography alone was 1pm-9pm. They had me booked for 7 hours 😓.
