I've enjoyed having a little post it at the start of each month, both to mark the start of the month, and to write secret notes to myself 🤭 Plus it gives me the excuse to use washi tape!

Can't believe it's already time to make spreads for Christmas. Merry Xmas everyone!

Still loving using colour pencils for headings. Unlike brush pens, I don't have to worry about bleed through the paper. Paper thickness is an issue for me since I'm just using random cute notebooks lying around the house. Plus they come in all sorts of lovely colours, like the ones in my picture.

I'm using the Chinese bazi calendar to help me decide the colours. Some lovely combos so far!

I discovered a new (to me) way of lettering! The yellow was too light on its own so I wrote over it with pen. It made me think of a lightbulb so I doodled one.
