Classical Architectural modelers of Holygon have been working on 3D models since a long time and they apply some kind of tips for perfect models.
Holygon is a Swedish Company that specializes in making historically-precise digital models for visual and 3D printing applications. At 3D Basecamp 2018, Founders Andres Lyhagen and Felix Heuman have presented how to accurately model urban spaces for 3D printing; they also shared their top workflow tips with the whole SketchUp community.
It combines deep knowledge of traditional design principles with command of recent digital technology to create state-of-art digital and physical 3D models of cities, architecture and other bespoke forms. They specialized in accuracy-modeling large urban cityscapes and individual buildings ready for true-to-life full-color 3D printing. Besides, they also program custom 3D tools, teach the art of 3D and visualize 3D models.
3D Basecamp 2018: 3D Basecamp is a much awaited place for all types of SketchUppers where they meet to teach, learn and inspire each other and this time 3D basecamp is going to held in Palm Springs at California from September 24th to 28th 2018. It is the program of a full week which most probably will be the best week for all the SketchUp lovers as they can develop their 3D modeling skills, increase the social circle by connecting with more people and can view the beauty of California.

Top 10 ways to boost productivity
We're never too old to be better at what we do and taking wise advice will do us good. This advice could come from a range of different sectors; it doesn't have to just be from the visualisation world.
Paul Hatton’s latest Top 10 shares some useful tips and workflow tricks to save time and keep you focused -- whether you’re a 3D artist or not, there might be something in here that works for you!
I'm a little bit in love with this site/page right now. I've been to a lot of writing blogs and taken their advice to heart, but a lot of the time it's on publishing rather than writing. And on the writing front, I've only had the amazing Stephen King as a guide, having read his book, On Writing (HIGHLY recommend, by the way). But Stephen King is a machine. He writes every single day, including weekends and holidays. I think I remember him saying the only time he didn't write was while he was recuperating from his accident (and even then only the first days).
Meanwhile, I'm trying to write my first novel and not only can I not seem to write only one story at a time (I now have the first chapters of three entirely separate novels written) but I don't feel motivated to write at all some days. Some days I spent 4 hours writing 800 words and feel like crap because why is it so hard? I'm supposed to be good at this! I'm supposed to have ideas and flow and --
So I looked this info up (how much you should write each day), because I got paranoid thinking that Stephen King hadn't said 2k words a day but 5k (apparently it was 1k - go memory!) and this site came up and reassured the hell out of me. I'm definitely not a machine!writer like Stephen King, and I've been struggling to just write without wanting things to be a certain way (not perfect on the first try but near enough that I can go on) like so many people try to advise.
So yes. If you're having doubt about how much you write or your routine (or lack thereof), take a look at this great article. I've just printed it out and put it on my achievement/motivation bulletin board.
