I always love hearing about how TTRPGs help people mentally and emotionally. I feel incredibly lucky to have this kind of outlet.
(Trying to learn to do a new thing)
Brain- This is hard, it sucks and I hate it, why are we doing this?
Me- Because we want to be able to do this thing, and it's important to challenge yourself and learn new things!
Brain- But I'm no good at it, and I don't like it.
Me- Yes, but we need to be patient with ourselves and learn new skills through practice, and not just do things that come easily. You're forming new neural pathways, it's good for you! And it's like on Adventure Time, remember?
Brain- grumble, grumble. Okay, but I should like it.
Me- There there. 10 more minutes and we'll have a cookie and some tea, okay?
Brain- Fiiine, I GUESS.
(Manages an okay try at the thing, and then does it again)
Brain- I guess I don't COMPLETELY hate it.

On The Road to Bergen

Summary: After arriving back in Pete’s World and dealing with the Kraken and the Doctor’s regeneration sickness, Rose and the Doctor’s road trip to Bergen hits a slight problem. One they solve but leads to working through relationship issues and the trauma from saving the universe.
A/N: Fic 2 in this series. Follows Through the Seas and Storms We Will Find Our Love. Lots of banter and them being them except this time, they have to recover from their adventure in a nice hotel suite whilst UNIT keeps an eye on them. Sometimes saving the Universe means healing themselves along with it.

I'm not 100% sure I like the white in the asexual colours to mean allies. If I use a lilac type colour so it still represents partnership is that okay? I don't know if I like the colours including another person/s that's not directly related to myelf
