It’s funny how the narrative says that disliking muggles is a negative trait, yet the stories repeatedly show muggles as awful people. The Dursley’s are abusive, Tobias Snape is abusive, Hermione’s and Lily’s parents are nice but they’re one dimensional characters who aren’t even giving first names. In Fantastic Beasts, Mary-Lou Barebone is abusive. And Jacob is the only nice muggle character who is given a proper name and character development. It’s just interesting that the majority of muggle characters who actually feature in the plot are horrible magic hating child abusers.
