This Week's Workouts+A Leg Day Workout
Just wanted to drop in quick to share my workouts from this past week with you, and to share a new leg workout I came up with!
Also, here are my workouts this week, in case you are interested.
Monday - leg day! I did the following leg workout (+ 20 min HIIT on the elliptical):
This workout breaks the exercises into sets of 2 different exercises. You do 12 reps of 2 exercises, then repeat those 2 exercises with 12 more reps. Then you move onto the next set of 2 exercises, and never come back to the old.
Here are a few tutorials for some of the exercises, in case you are wondering.
*Side planks (raising and lowering hips)
*Lying leg lifts - I did my Leg abductors this way, but for the "lying leg lifts", I kept the top leg up in the air, and raised and lowered the bottom leg.
Tuesday - 3.5 mile run + stretching - I made it! Working on this month's goal.
Wednesday - arms/abs day. I did this arm workout, and this ab workout.
Thursday - yoga class with my friend, Mariah, and as I mentioned, it was much needed!
Friday - 2.5 mile run. I was feeling good on Friday, but sadly the showers weren't working at the gym, so we ended up having to leave early so Ryan could use my shower and we would both have time to shower before class
