i haven't posted about my dbh workskin in a while. let's fix that!

i added:

time & date pop-ups (with POV & relative timestamps [ex. 3 days ago])

tiny LEDs to put on the stress pop-ups

How to make your text unselectable on AO3

From your dashboard, go to Skins

You should be on a page called "My Site Skins"

Click on "My Work Skins"

Click on "Create Work Skin" (in the upper-right)

Leave the Type as Work Skin

Give it a unique Title, like "Fuck Chatbots"

Go into the CSS body

Paste the following text:

#workskin * {

user-select: none;

}

(For the curious, the '*' is selecting everything and turning off the ability to select it. Specifically selecting text. "Workskin" is used with every CSS style on AO3 and is a required prefix.)

Click 'Submit'

Huzzah! It has been created! Let's use it!

Go to Post -> New Work

Fill in required fields with whatever your heart desires

In the Associations section, at the bottom at "Select Work Skin," select "Fuck Chatbots"

Fill the body with your fic text

Preview or Post your work

The Workskin has automatically turned off the ability to select text!

i finished the tutorial for my dbh workskin! featured in it are decision menus with the timer (ex. become deviant/remain a machine), stress levels up and down, relationship pop-ups, and how to make glitched text without zalgo!
