I’m a lil bit late, but in honour of Ocie swaps, here’s my interpretation of some Fable smp characters in DeadZone smp!

Lil descriptions of each character below the cut :D

Arissanna

a low-level cabinet member for the mayor's party.

They decided to stop participating after seeing how the mayor acted in the apocalypse, with some encouragement from boo. now they live in the woods together.

Momboo

arissana's girlfriend! A florist pre-apocalypse, now she tends to her garden in the woods and handmakes remidies that she hands out to vulnerable parts of the population

Jamie

Became a zombie back when zombies didnt become sentient, except they refused their urge to be violent.

Swip spent a day watching them avoid all humans before mussling it and bringing it to momboo, who emidiately took care of him

Athena

Became partly zombified from a piglin, but got healed and developed an immunity to zombies. Has made it their personal mission to befriend Jamie

Swip

a young adult orphaned post nukes. They were "adopted" by momboo and live part-time at her house, when not out causing mischief

Caspian

May or may not have been DZ!Rae's boyfriend before whatever happened to him... was enlisted pre-nukes to fight the zombies, didn't go well, he lost his then-one life, becoming a zombie and loosing his memories.

Ven

ex-cabinet member running from Ryker. they're more scared of him than the apocalypse, but either way, hasn't left their bunker despite having the go-ahead (maybe convinced their bunkmates they died in a corner?)

The Flash

On a bright sunny Afternoon, the world would change forever when a great flash engulfed the world. Once the flash subsided people found themselves inside new bodies. Chaos would eventually ensue but still upon glancing on to your new form is shocking especially to those who swapped sexes. As happened to me, that morning before the flash I was a 45 year old man with not much going on. I was shopping at the moment the flash happened. When I awoke I was lying in a bed my body now younger and female.

Iwas confused, my pants hanging open I could tell this body had recently had sex, I could still feel the cum inside my new vagina, it was odd though it would be a sensation I'd soon learn a lot about. It took months for the world to figure out the flash was permanent and how to handle people who had taken on new bodies and how to deal with the reality of handling new identites. In the mean time I needed to make money to survive, so I used what I had to survive. My new female body, I stripped, made sex videos and even was offered roles in several porn shoots, My body became internet famous. It was better than anything I had in my old life. So yes thanks to the flash I had a great new life, but alas not all stories were so happy.

i randomly generated a world swap and the result was the magnificent seven! essentially, this means unwind cowboy au:

Connor still thinks this is a stupid idea.

Obviously, it has to happen. The Graveyard’s a hell of a ghost town, hence the name, but Connor’d rather die than see the dang Juveys running through the streets like they own it. And maybe Connor will die for the place after all, because the only plan they’ve got is to string together a team of convicts and outlaws, trigger-happy idiots and honest to God cowboys, and fight off the Juveys. If they’re still breathing long enough to have a drink after, it’ll be a win in Connor’s book.

Still– what a team! Risa must be out of her mind to think these sorts of polar opposites would work together. The few (okay, many) times he’s complained, she’s silenced him with a single look. For this plan to be anything but suicidal, they need people with a wide range of strengths. So she says, at least, white hat reflecting the sun around her head like she’s a damn angel.

Connor certainly looks at her like she’s an angel, even despite what he knows about her– the bounty hunter, running from the law since she was a kid. Just like he did. If there’s one thing all of them in this plucky band of sharpshooters have in common, it’s that they ran off young and never came back, figuring their best future would be found somewhere on the road. Maybe it was and maybe it wasn’t, but they’ve become good riders and better shots, and Connor would say that’s better than growing old on a front porch somewhere anyway.

That’s all they’ve got in common, though. Feels like it, at least. What else could connect Hayden, the printer of the revolutionary newspaper that’s gotten him kicked out of a fair share of towns, or Roland, whose fingers keep twitching towards his pistols? How else are Lev, a former preacher’s son ‘til the fire and brimstone made him sick, and Starkey, a fuse ready to blow, possibly similar?

A love for risk, that’s what. Or, more pessimistically, none of them have any home waiting anymore. If you can’t go back, you go forward. Into the arms of bullets, maybe. Connor looks around at his band of outlaws and thinks– one day, when they win this fight, there might be a place for them after all.

Just imagine Link with an Armstrong arm, and instead of a guitar it forms a facsimile of the master sword, with upbeat remixes of classic Zelda songs like in Cadence of Hyrule.

Chai, waking up with Rarru's arm, having no real clue what is going on but being told about what's happening down below & immediately being on board.

Also they must outfit swap as well, of course.

Hey there! I'm going Rogue and sending a random Underwing Question! If you could trade lives with any of your characters, from any of your stories, who would it be and why? On the flip side of this, which of your characters do you think would most like to trade places with you?

Oooo I love a rebel! And I love this question! I will also be a rebel and give a few different answers though because I have good reasons.

So it's hilarious, I've had headcanons where I considered what it would be like if I switched places with Sadie and honestly, if given the choice, I wouldn't. Her children need her, her husband would be extremely upset and probably want to kill me lmao. But on the other hand, Sadie would absolutely love exploring this world I think. She would get a kick out of cars and the weird houses we live in, the fact we don't use fire to light our homes. Oh god she would be in love with lightbulbs. I think public transportation would be her favorite thing. She doesn't have to control it and she gets to talk to people and ask them questions. Everyone on the bus would hate her lol. I also think she'd freaking love fast food especially drive throughs. "I just get in this metal horseless wagon, ask for what I want, and I get my food like a minute later?! This is amazing! I'm going to put a drive through for wagons back in Stawold at the Stag!"

I also think that despite the world having magic, maybe the medieval lifestyle wouldn't be super great unless I could live in a manor. I love my hot showers. So I think I might like to switch lives with my Shadowrun character Nova. She has money, owns her own bar, and if I could take on her powers I would have a dragon form WHICH IS LITERALLY THE DREAM. She has a lovely little adopted family and doesn't get into too much trouble. She can live a normal life or go on runs for the foundation whenever. It's also set in a future version of our world so it would be easiest to adjust to. I'd love to be able to get a cyber limb just for the fun of it.

Vyxen has almost infinite money in the same world but she lives with a horrid ancient man who is a jerk and I wouldn't be able to put up with it. Vyxen is really good about dealing with him though lol.

But ok who am I kidding... all logic aside of course I would want to be in Sadie's world! Just anything to be around her and experience the shenanigans she gets up to.

Write a story about your character living a time period/world that is not their own? What would they do?

Ex. A modern character living in medieval Europe, or feudal Japan. Or a historical character being sent to the modern era, or even the future. Would a lawyer suddenly be a peasant, or a queen?

Ex. A character from a fantasy world living instead on a normal Earth. Or a “normal” character living a life as part of deep space exploration team, or fantasy world. Would an average jane/joe become a reclusive wizard or a friendly apothecary?
