{everyone on gaia has their own limit breaks and the POTENTIAL to use them, but being able to actually USE your limit breaks depends largely on whether or not you’ve had any training in fighting at all and your likelihood in being in those kinds of life/death situations that would awaken a limit break}

{so for SOLDIERs and TURKs, they’re aware of their limit breaks and how to use them because they’ve had very specific training on finding out what their limit breaks are and how to access them. once you get inducted into either group, that becomes part of the training regimen}

{next most likely are those who are in the military but aren’t special or black ops, like cloud would have been. they’re still going to be on the battlefield, but they don’t get the same specific training, so a lot of the time, it can be a surprise to find out what your limit breaks are}

{followed up by people who have had fighting training in general, official or unofficial, like say... tifa and barret.}

{least likely are your average civilians. they still HAVE limit breaks and HAVE the potential, but it largely depends on your fight/flight/freeze response if you can actually access them, and it’s sometimes kind of a fluke.}

I don’t think the Chaos Heart is something that goes away. It’s extremely powerful, and like how the Pure Hearts can be restored with love, the Chaos Heart will keep beating as long as there’re negative emotions to power it. It has dormant states and active states. We see the Pure Hearts sort of cancel it twice; once with the barrier protecting Bleck, and again with the barrier on Super Dimentio. But they didn’t completely neutralize it. It destroyed the shield, but it didn’t stop the fusion. It restored the lost dimensions, but their denizens still remembered the Void. Not a full undo. 

You can say positive emotions are more powerful, but negative emotions are stickier. Harder to wade through, harder to control. And fusion is not a toy. Once something is fused together, it’s not an easy fix to separate them. Most of the Chaos Heart was thrown out when Dimentio lost and the effects of the Void were semi-reversed by Bleck and Tippi—but a small sliver of it remained in its host. Just a tiny little parasite that keeps slowly recovering and collecting energy over time. It’ll never be complete again, but it can get very close.    

Hah. Ok, so. Remember how I said fusion is not a toy? That works for people, too. Both Dimentio and Luigi left little imprints on each other, and it mostly just affected their magic shift slightly. Basically, Dimentio came away with Luigi’s ability to sense things (he doesn’t realize that’s where the ability came from at first, he just assumes it’s something that can be learned…I think this gets touched on in literally the next chapter of dimigi au lol). He notices the Chaos Heart right from the get-go. Like, Act I Scene I, in which Luigi is shaking him awake in the castle. A lot of it has to do with the fact that he was fused with it before, so it’s very easy for him to recognize.  

Ohhhhh BOY would that not be a good time. Not that it’s a good time for Luigi, but Dimentio would definitely not even SURVIVE for like 5 seconds (and the Chaos Heart knows that, that’s why it yeeted itself out when Luigi left the fusion). Dimentio is not Chaos Heart-soluble. His magic is not compatible. Even if he managed to somehow contain it physically, it would consume so much of his magic that he would burn out and probably become an empty shell. It’s very, VERY potent, and part of what makes Luigi the ideal host is his ability to metabolize energy without serious side effects. Dimentio has channels. His absorption rate is very limited, and they would overflow instantly and wreck him.

Fae Language & Lifespan

The Fae are not vocal by nature and some never speak though they can learn. They rely mostly on a telepathic sending of concepts and feelings as opposed to words, though simple words can be sent. Almost image like in quality, message are much easier to convey and much harder to lie with, giving way to the thought that Fae cannot lie.  This also happens to be where Fae madness comes from. Fae language has no name and is entirely incomprehensible to humans and only marginally comprehensible to monsters. Humans who hear it often think they are seeing things and voices when it is often just Fae trying to speak to them. Monsters tend to mirror the vague feelings they get which can be helpful or cause more problems.  Fae are literal magic and intrinsically tied with their legends. So long as their legends runs strong they can live forever, however, this also means they are weak against whatever their legends say they are weak to (ie, iron, salt, stake through the heart, etc). The possibility for them to be both immortal and invulnerable is very real, especially given WAPs ever changing environment.

genuine question about ur lunaries. is there a saying similar to "on god"? and if there is do you get shot and killed by sir'wa when you do say it . Omg. wait. like on sir'wa im gonna get my work done . and then sir'wa smites you. haha.

I actually think saying “on *lunaire name*” is bad luck in a way. Because your basically putting a bunch of pressure on someone, lunaires would probably look at you like this in response

It’s really important 2 remember how religious these guys are and were-AND SO Depending on the lunaire I think saying the moons name in vain will get multiple responses. Most younglings do it to each other w no issue, but Zsnasha would smite ur ass, same with Dawgale. Really depends on the religious scale here

(The moons “words” are taken so so seriously and on par I think speaking anything into existence as a joke would also get you smacked)

It's easy for you to forget you're closed in, the only real indication being the metal pillars that go all the way up to the glass ceiling, holding it steady. But ever since the virus began, the city has been closed off. A new section was built, used solely to hold servers for important websites and apps. Doctors and scientists alike worked tirelessly to make a cure, but none was able to be created. A vaccine was, however, and many places now required you to be vaccinated to work there. No one recovered from the virus, and nearly everyone outside the city was gone. So it was good you were trapped here, at least that's what you tell yourself. Better than being dead, is what you say to yourself.
