As of June 17th, 2018... I was released early from my duties and services over at Toys R Us. Over there I was a Toys R Us team member, specifically a floor associate and of course the store’s official Geoffrey mascot. I have a lot of memories working the three years over at the retailer, and found the atmosphere to be a lot more comforting than any office or cubicle job, or even the soul crushing grey environment of an industrial warehouse.

I genuinely enjoyed working at Toys R Us, despite my co-workers who were in management being people who I just didn’t get along with. Of course, it was just two or three people... but you know.. I had a lot of friends there.

I always looked forward to seeing what NECA collectables they had, I also looked forward to seeing what Marvel Legends we were going to be getting from the shipment. But I rarely bought anything as an employee.. Aside from a few figures and games.

With the music playing in this video, and the memories I have... I almost cried. I have a lot of memories as a child, an adult customer, and a employee... And it pains me to know that... we have to grow up.

But I’m always going to be a Toys R Us kid.
