I remembered the day it rained in Den Haag, when Wida and I had to get inside to one of the closest store to avoid being soaked in rain. It was a thrift shop. And I saw a pair of black Docmart slipons, in my size, half the retail price. I just had to buy them.

My morning #bible reading at the moment is 1 Samuel and had to share a part of chapter 12:20-25. This is King Samuel talking to his people #theisraelites - They were asking for a human king to lead them 🤴 Then were reminded who their #trueking☝ was and to #neverforget - unfortunately, history tells us they did forget and went back to worshipping idols #worldlythings time and time again - that's when things didn't go well for them #evendeath😔 I feel this speaks to us as a people today.
