Ray looked at his work and couldn’t help but grin. He had spent so long on it, doing his best to make every part of it perfect. It was a bit much, maybe, but then again, with the world that the kid would be coming into, everything was a bit much sometimes. 

He quickly threw the tarp he had been using to hide it back over it. Too excited to keep the surprise any longer, he ran to the fireman’s pole and yelled down. 

“Venkman?! Can you come up here for a second? You’ve got to see this!”

this is the beginning of many ‘thank you’ posts that i’m sure nobody will actually see, but i wanted to make anyways because hey, new years!

this first one is a shoutout to @ourmasteram!

thank you, ted, for being a pal this year, and for always being game to talk with me when i felt the need! i don’t know a lot of people on here who are into ghostbusters, which makes your friendship all the more special. i love ghostbusters, and i love talking about it with someone who loves it as much as i do!

on that note, i also want to extend my gratitude to the entire ghostbusters franchise, for all the laughs and fun it’s brought me this year, and a special shoutout to @phelous, whose videos made me curious enough to check out the real ghostbusters, and made me into the ghosthead i am! i’m eternally grateful for you both, and ghostbusters as a whole--more than i can possibly convey in this post. 

thanks for making this dumpster fire year a little easier, and a happy and blessed new year to you both, and to all ghostheads!!
