Mysteries

Shanks had learned over the years that this world was full of mystery, not all of which were meant to be solved. This one was perhaps one of those mysteries. The wooden half-assed raft was bobbing in the water as he stood in the center of it. His head ached, his cape was gone. It was just him, his white shirt, thank God he had pants, and a small dagger. Not even his sword.
The mystery? How the hell did he get here. In the middle of the sea, which sea he didn’t know but he hoped it was at least relatively near where he had been the night prior. Panicking wasn’t going to help him, but he also felt inaction would be... inadequate.
In the distance he saw a ship. He had two options - hope it didn’t see him and take care of matters himself, or catch its attention in hopes it was a friendly ship. Well. He’d figure out how to escape that ship when the time came, now he needed to get off this little... plank of wood.
“Ahoy! Yo! Help! S.O.S.!” he was calling out, pulling off his white shirt to wave it, a white flag and a plea for help.
