tarnian is much more gruff sounding than iaconian, often it is seen as lesser or from a place of poor education due to the turn of phrase.
I feel like this is a very popular hc (or at least I’ve seen references to it in a lot of fanfics :0!), and if we mix it with the hc that Tarn (along with many other cities, which are usually also the Decepticon aligned ones) was less ‘cultural’/’academic’ (and ngl less rich) than other cities (such as Iacon) we could talk about how that perception of Tarnians (& co.) as less educated & sophisticated could have been startes as propaganda to dismish the workers movemtents in the cities and to try to mantain the cultural hegemony of other areas
