WorldWideWonder drawing in MS Paint. Had this scene idea in my head for a while now.

And as a sort of a Balanniversary bonus - Some WorldWideWonder!Inhabitants doodles I've made in the past few... Well I had the last two for a while.

I can explain the drawings if needed, but I think it'd make the post's description a bit long if I explained them now.

Quick old-ish doodle of WorldWideWonder!Balan I made while listening to the Paranoia Agent OST. Visually, WWW!Balan doesn't look any different, and it's intentional, as in this AU, he inhabits the body made of Lance's thoughts about a character from his unfinished game. He actually isn't even "Balan", just forced into this semi-physical form because he didn't have one of his own.

I'm thinking about it right now, so here are summaries of all WorldWideWonder characters.

Long post, putting it under the cut.

Leo Craig: Antisocial kid, prefers music to people. Likes saying that he's a skeptic, but secretly believes in supernatural more than anyone else on this list. Will develop Schizoid PD later in life.

Emma Cole: Kind, generous, and a bit eerie. Struggles to understand people due to being isolated as a kid. Her parents are too busy for her, so she quickly latches on to anyone that shows her affection. Main reason why she so easily agreed to work with Balan.

Yuri Brand: Autistic. Appears odd and unpleasant to others. When she's not catching bugs (insects) or scrolling entomology databases, she's on videogame forums talking about catching bugs (glitches) under a fake name. Knows how videogame code works a lot better than most kids.

Iben Bia: Really anxious, has serious trauma from her parents dying a couple years before WWW's events. Shy, caring, tries to be the "responsible adult" of the group despite only being 17. Knows Emma through her parents having been business partners and friends of Emma's.

Fiona Demetria: Used to be a cheerful and happy person, after almost drowning became quiet and scared of everything. Believes death is always near, and is overly cautious because of it.

Haoyu Chang: Very upbeat and exciteable, actively suicidal. Kicked out of an expensive college his parents sent him to, where he was pursuing his dream of being a pilot. Convinced his life's over, plans on buildng his own plane or dying in the process.

Cass Milligan: Kind but overworked, paid very little as the theme park princess, works a second job to feed herself and Lady, her cat, the last granddaughter of her childhood cat. Lady gets hit by a truck when Cass drops the carrier going back from the vet.

Attilio Caccini: Recklesss romantic, which is what gets him fired from his job. Raised in poverty, always dreamed of one day suddenly discovering that he's a lost royal. Specifically wanted to be a princess, dropped the dream as an adult. She has some things to learn about herself I'll tell you that much.

Sana Hudson: Very busy, works as a volunteer for a group that saves forests and rare species. Studying to get an architector's degree (younger than canon Sana) and studying ornithology at home as a hobby. Runs on caffeine and perfectionism. Really needs sleep.

Bruce Stone: Old. Believes himself to be useless after the death of his famous activist wife. Sort of just living on autopilot, thinks he'll die soon, so he doesn't try to do anything. Anything.

Cal Suresh: Confident, if not aggressive. Thinks about everything strategically and gets defensive when his strategy fails. Doesn't fully realize that life isn't a battlefield. Started drinking a lot more after the passing of his wife from illness and his loss of the title of world's best chess player.

Lucy Wong: Keeps her flirty and sassy personality, but can't accept the fact that she can no longer draw as well as she could due to her hands being shaky after her head injury. Rapidly losing popularity.

Eis Glover: Calm, brave, not a coward in the slightest. Will not rush into danger for no reason, but will confidently go in first if he knows he has to. Gentle and sentimental. Can't get over the kid he couldn't save.

Jose Gallard: Very much a country man. Won't hesitate to get in a fight, but prefers to discuss the issue over a nice cold drink. Worked a lot before losing his home and fields to a tornado. His family is safe, but they have nowhere to go. The sudden change is crushing him.

"Lance": A human scientist and hopeful game developer. Taken over by the madness of being trapped between realities and his own greed for power. Believes Balan to be his unruly creation.

"Balan": Being from another plane of existence. Rapidly losing his mind between dimensions. Just wants to go home. He won't.

WorldWideWonder

On one absolutely normal day, a boy who struggles to make friends, Leo, discovers a website with a game called "Balan Wonderworld". It's a multiplayer game, and he mysteriously recognises his classmate, Emma, as the player named "Fighter". The two kids, as well as two more players named Yuri and Iben, try to find more players and figure out the secrets of the game. Things get creepy as they start recognising people who recently went missing and Leo begins to see visions of the game's main characters - Maestros Balan and Lance.

Okay so since I kinda stopped working on my BWW AU and I'm not even sure if this drawing is a part of it - I'm revealing that its title is/was WorldWideWonder. Because I really like the title. Maybe I'll talk about the AU's plot eventually, but I'm not exactly happy with where it is right now, so that can wait.
