Head Canon of the Day

“Wormgod” was the largest Dwemer manufacturer of pipes in the province now known as Morrowind. Wormgod pipes were used in nearly every Dwemer freehold and citadel in the region. The enterprise left their mark on every pipe they produced: WORMGODWORMGODWORMGOD. Scholars believe that the name was originally meant as an irreverent reference to the pipes worming their way through every Dwemer ruin like an entity with its grubby appendages in every part of Dwemer society. Some more radical Dwemer enthusiasts and adherents to the arkayic notion of interventional apotheosis believe this sigilic scribing of a name across thousands of miles of piping throughout an entire region of the world may have actually led to the creation of a new god; whether by aspiration or accident is unknown. Perhaps the fledgling “wormgod” expired with its creators as it is yet to show any tangible manifestation of power in the world. But the irony of the Dwemer birthing a new god into their misotheistic culture is not lost on this humble scholar.
