In 1998, Team 17 released Addiction Pinball, a fairly standard pinball simulation that seemed to take much after the Pro Pinball series. As in that game, it featured tables that could feasibly exist in the real world, with acceptably realistic physics. It featured two different tables, one based on Team 17’s racing game, World Rally Fever, the other based on Worms. When the game was ported to the Playstation, it was renamed Worms Pinball, presumably for branding reasons. In 2002, the PC version was bundled with early copies of Worms Blast and renamed Worms Pinball, the World Rally Fever table now missing entirely.. Worms Pinball (1998)

Worms Pinball is half a game. Literally. Specifically, it's half of the 1998 'Addiction Pinball', a two-table pinball pack designed to capitalise upon two Team 17 properties; Worms, and 'World Rally Fever' a Japanese racing game which Team 17 no longer hold the rights to. 

The Steam version contains one pinball table and... oh, no wait, that's it. A single pinball table, which thanks to the fact that the game can only be viewed from a selection of fixed camera angles, you can never see the entirety of. So that's most of one pinball table then.

On the plus side, it's not the worst video game pinball table around. The physics are solid, the game never seems particularly unfair, and the table's rules and features are suitably incomprehensible, but there's just too little to it; no other modes, no unlockables, no extra features, you've just got the one, still shot of the average pinball table and nothing more to do. 

The fact that Team 17 think that the game is worth £4.99 is a joke, and an unfunny one at that. This is a shameless piece of half-baked shovelware that should have been left in the 1990s where it belonged.
