rafael probably ends up telling petra about mateo’s concerns re: aunt petra doesn’t like me and operation: get aunt petra to like me at some point. petra’s heart lowkey breaks a little when that happens, especially because she’s aware that she isn’t exactly always the warmest with mateo but she never really thought that it affected him much less bothered him. petra promises raf that she won’t tell the boy, but she definitely makes more effort to not let him feel she dislikes him because it’s not true : less frowning and more smiling, invites him to go out with the girls to play or get ice cream ( and hopes he doesn’t end up causing trouble ) and i think she’ll probably ask raf to help her in terms of communicating with mateo because she’s not the best at it as well.
