Another AU within an AU! I got a question a while back asking about what the worst ending for D is. It's this AU! It came about from a conversation between @alexthebordercollie , @whenalltheeyesopen , @ranchsoda92 and I. Thanks to @whenalltheeyesopen for this summary!

Okay, so time to summarize

Mad King D!!!!

How It Happens

The entire premise of Good Ending applies here up until the end of Project Deicide. The two Bill Ciphers die, the world is saved.

The difference comes right afterwards.

In the Good Ending canon, D lives on the Compound for years after Deicide, because the Eusophontarians feel protective of him. For a few months after Deicide, D is still devoted to the now-dead Bill Cipher; after a few months, he suddenly becomes disillusioned and his healing journey begins. H, meanwhile, has just killed his husband and lost a big chunk of everything he owns, so he's hiding from shame and suicide on the Compound as well. They live there for a decade and a half. Jean-Paul was coerced into joining Project Deicide and is kept on the Compound against his will for a short while, but eventually establishes his own life and is perfectly content; Oleander, LS, the Eus, and eventually D go out of their way to keep him from being coerced or abused again. Little Stan and Scalene live with them as a family. Big Stan comes and goes, managing his business but spending time with the others regularly.

In Mad King D, H moves back to 08 immediately. D goes with him, because he can't possibly be without H. Jean-Paul comes, too - he does not get a choice in this, because if D wants him, D gets to keep him, and axolotl save anyone who tries to stop H from making D happy. (D is still too delusional and out of it to fully register or care that this is unconsenting.) LittleStan and Scalene stay on the compound for a while and eventually go to 04.

At first:

H wants D safe and happy, so essentially D ends up in a perfect gilded cage. In Good Ending, the process of teaching D how to be an autonomous person is long and painful; in this version of events, though, H is much more interested in D being comfortable than in D getting better. Jean-Paul still occasionally tries to advocate for D, but for the most part, D is just living his life in a world of cushions, snacks, and little luxuries, exactly as delusional and unstable as he is in Main Canon.

Big Stan is trying to take care of D, too. He wants to take him away from H, but he physically can't; H is powerful and D doesn't want to leave. JP hates Big Stan in most of the post-Deicide Good Ending timeline; in this version, though, Big Stan is the only person left who's on JP's side.

H, meanwhile, throws himself headfirst into his old lifestyle of drugs, parties, and loose sex. However, H used to be an invincible god; now, he's an old man with poor body sense and blood pressure issues.

H dies within months, possibly weeks or days.

H's death:

Bill loyalist Ciphertologists get H drunk and then get him to overdose. Using necromancy, they make sure his soul can't escape to the afterlife and force him to be present while they torture and abuse his corpse in every conceivable way. H's soul is bound to a ratty, dirty doll. It isn't set in stone what kind of doll it is, but we're leaning an extremely girly puppet of some sort - puppet in particular because having a nice easy way to stick things inside it serves their purposes for what they want to do with it.

While the cultists are still abusing H's corpse, D walks in on them and instantly destroys them. The doll was on H's body, so he takes it; since it's the last thing that touched H, he can't bear to part with it. At this point he doesn't know that H's soul is bound in there.

The Early Days

In 08, whoever is the biggest gun is in charge. D is extremely fucking powerful, because his magical specialty is channeling Bill Cipher's weirdness magic, and that stuff leaked everywhere in 08 when Hill died. D is ruling ("ruling") 08 as a figurehead: he doesn't care at all about politics or leadership, but nobody can unseat him from this place where H lived before he died. He keeps Jean-Paul and the doll with him. The doll is sometimes perched on H's old throne.

Jean-Paul is miserable, and he still blames H for his misery. (I'd say it's not unreasonable - that guy kidnapped and enslaved him, leaving him to be inherited by an insane wizard.) Every now and then, when D isn't around, he'll kick the H doll.

One time, D caught him doing this. He immediately set JP on fire in a dissociative haze. A moment later, he comes to, and douses the flames in horror at what's happening to his friend. He does not remember that he did it or why he would have done such a thing.

JP doesn't risk that action again.

The Visit to McGucket

Jean-Paul eventually starts to figure out that the doll is H. When this happens, he's no longer willing to use that thing as a punching bag, because that's H, there is a person in it, we need to get him out!!! JP may hate the guy, but this is horrible!!!

He manages to get D to realize that it's H, and D is absolutely ecstatic. He is so happy! He thought his friend was dead, but he's not! Everything is good now. 🙂

JP: But we need to help him

D: Why? 🙂

JP: We need to get him out!

D: Why? 🙂

JP: Or- or at least get him the ability to move and communicate!

D: I don't understand. 😦

JP: ...He'd probably be happier if he could?

D: Oh! 🙂 Okay. 🙂

So, the doll gets taken to Fiddleford McGucket of 08, famed antimage.

Fiddleford is able to give the doll the ability to speak. Immediately, the doll starts sobbing uncontrollably.

D panics, and almost immediately that doll is no longer able to speak.

D: Oh. 😦 It can't speak. 😦 There's no way of ever making it speak. 😦 That's a shame. 😦 Oh well. 🙂

D cannot be convinced that what just happened happened, and he's too powerful a mage to be contained, so he takes his friends and goes home.

Fruit to the rescue!....?

Fruit shows up! 😄

What exactly happens to Fruit in the Deicide and immediately post-Deicide portions of the story is a little wobbly, but usually we have her in jail during Deicide. (She ate a political summit of about five hundred heads of state.) Regardless, she gets out of jail and comes to find her friends.

She finds Little Man and is really excited!! 😄 😄 😄

BUUUuuut he's acting kinda weird. 😦 😦 😦

Fruit and D hang out for a while, but Fruit needs to go feed her cats and D doesn't want her to leave. Fruit is insistent; she tries to take Jean-Paul and leave. D is not okay with this. D uses his godlike magic powers to restrain her and try and convince her to stay. When he can't do it, and when she keeps trying to get away - Ouroboroi are notoriously hard to contain - he makes sure she can't leave by turning her into a jade statue.

Before he does that, though, he chops off a big chunk of her tail. He needs that! Ouroboros meat is the secret to immortality, and he never wants to be separated from his friends. 🙂

Just Before the Wandering God Days

D is insane, needless to say. Jean-Paul is enslaved and spends most of his days trying to make H-Doll's life a little bit less of a living hell by reading to him, cleaning him, helping him keep up with the news, and showing him things he thinks he'd like to see. H-Doll desperately, desperately wants to die. Jade-Fruit, if she can think at all, is internally screaming with rage nonstop.

Oh, also, remember that Fruit meat? D is eating it, D is forcing Jean-Paul to eat it, and D is lovingly feeding it to H.

"But Eyes," you say, "H is a doll. How does he eat?"

Seamripper.

One day, D just wanders off into wilderness.

Wandering God Days

D begins to wander the countryside. This guy becomes the kind of thing you see in folktales: he'll show up at random houses and demand food and shelter. If you refuse, there's a fifty percent chance you and everything you own is destroyed and a fifty percent chance he sadly wanders off into the night.

D is easy to mistake for H, if you don't know what happened. He only wears H's clothes out of mourning. He ends up with only one eye after Jean-Paul's third escape attempt*. He has godlike power. Regardless of who you think he is, though, he's a creature of horrible portent: because he hates rain, he will drive droughts; he will murder people on a whim; when he "helps," he'll often make things worse. His "rule" is making 08, which was already a bit of a shithole, fall apart completely.

Jean-Paul's three escape attempts

JP is miserable, needless to say. He also doesn't have access to his medications or any mental health support, so he's... not okay. (This has only been referenced in veiled terms in the meta, but Jean-Paul has a psychotic disorder that was debilitating when he was young.) The only thing keeping him sane is taking care of H. This is no small task: in order to get the rotting meat out of H, he needs to convince D to let him take the doll out of his sight for a bit. He does this by convincing him that he needs to help H clean up, since he finds it hard to do now that he's physically disabled. (This isn't a lie or anything. Being a doll is a pretty big disability.)

The first time Jean-Paul tries to run away, D frantically searches for him, finds him, and begs him not to do that again. You can't run away, PG, he says. I can't be without you, PG. I feel like I'll do something horrible if you leave.

Jean-Paul is too scared to run again for a little while, but eventually, he does.

This time, out of terror that he'll lose his friend again, D hugs JP very hard to his chest, and magically fuses him there. For a while, JP just has to live as an appendage of D. He's eventually able to convince D that he's unhappy that way, but the trauma makes him so afraid of running away that he panics if D is even a little further away than usual or out of his sight.

(This is good news for D! He gets to keep his friend closer than before! 😊)

The third time Jean-Paul tries to run away, D tells him that he's going to do a ritual. D is scared of losing him again, and wants to do a spell so they can share sight. Jean-Paul doesn't protest because he can't.

Then, after setting up the ritual and preparing Jean-Paul, he scoops his own eye out.

This is freaky and upsetting to watch, of course, but nowhere near as upsetting as when D comes at him and JP realizes that he's next. He panics, and D has to hold him down - which is very strange of him! D did tell him he was going to do a ritual, why is he being so uncooperative now? 😦

Anyway, JP is still bleeding and in pain while he watches D eat his eye. Then, D takes his own eye and holds it out to JP.

JP tries to bolt away. D grabs and restrains him again.

D puts the eye in JP's mouth, but he spits it out. D ends up having to shove it down JP's throat, which is very difficult and unpleasant! 😦

To make matters worse, JP throws up!! D has to hold his mouth shut to keep the eye from falling out!

JP is convulsing and wretching, vomit leaking from the corners of his mouth, while D holds him still with a distressed look on his face, not sure why JP is so upset. Eventually, JP calms down enough to figure out that he has to swallow back his own bile or D is not going to let him go. He manages to swallow and keep it down with great difficulty.

Soon, the spell settles in. JP can see himself through D's eye in double vision with his own sight. It's very uncomfortable and dizzying.

What happens to the others?

Oleander is pretty fine. She's not happy about what happened to her patients, but what's she going to do? She keeps doing her job.

D is looking for Scalene, since he loves her and she's a connection to H. Oleander and the Eus are able to keep him out of the Compound, but regardless, Little Stan flees with Scalene to Earth; Big Stan helps him.

Big Stan will still occasionally visit D, but every time he does, he's afraid D will kill him or do something else horrible to him. It's not an irrational fear.

in your version where Adam practically takes Grimhilde's place and becomes the new evil King of Apfel, you mentioned that he would try to revive Snow White

Do you think one day He would achieve it? (I mean, if there was a way) or is there no way to revive Alita even with black magic?

Hello, sooo sorry that I'm only just answering this. I think this ask was made around the time my in-laws invaded my home which meant I had limited access to freely write what I want without getting 100 questions asking what I'm doing.

ANYWAYSSSSSSS

I'm a die-hard romantic, hence why I write romance, and I love to sprinkle in a little tragedy. I'm aware that my relationship with the worlds and characters I write are so different than from the readers perspective, BUTTT in the newest version of Black Apple Poison (as in the one I'm writing for publishing) the relationship that Adam has with the evil Quen Grimhilde isn't one anyone would want. He's only known hardship, spite, and hate, and Snow White was literally the one ray of hope & light in his dark and brooding world.

If she were to die, he would be completely beside himself with grief, vengeance, and wouldn't know how to cope with the broken heart in his chest. Adam would get to such a dark place that yes, he would try to revive Snow White, keeping her in the diamond casket for preservation until he finally found the solution. In some respects, he would turn into Dr. Frankenstein in playing with death, testing out the best way to revive Snow White without completely changing her personality as a whole.

Because he is a man of alchemy, I do believe he would succeed.

HOWEVER, one of these three things would happen.

Snow White would be revived with her memories and emotions for Adam still attached, she would be terribly weak as it'll be a very long time (probably a century or so because magical exaggeration). They would be happy together, however, now that Adam has walked a long hard road in the darkness, he's changed. While he has the love of his life again, she's sadly in a gilded cage because he trusts no one and is terrified to lose her again. She still loves him, but some part of it may be out of fear and she's not as happy as she once was and unless Adam gives her some sort of freedom, she'll never truly be happy. There is a war coming for him after all the terrible things he's done, and the rest of the world wants to be done with him. Now that he has Snow White to protect, he's even more monstrous and cruel in battle, showing no mercy for his enemies and truly terrifying Snow White. She only smiles around him in the fear of what he would do to her if she displeased him. [Worst ending]

Snow White is revived, but has no recollection of who she is, what she felt for Adam, and no memories whatsoever - because of this, she's terrified of Adam and is constantly trying to escape, which of course upsets Adam. He tries to give her space to allow her to get acclimated to her new life, but he's almost always within her shadow, ready to bring her back if she succeeds in escaping or keeping her out of harm's way. In her final failed attempt, in which he catches her outside the castle gates, she cries, and he takes her to the library to show her their history together. Even seeing the history of them together, she doesn't actually believe it because she knows he's a man of magic and can manipulate things. There is a war coming for him after all the terrible things he's done, and the rest of the world wants to be done with him. He will do everything within his power to protect Snow White, regardless that she'll never return his affections, and is betrayed when he finds out she managed to send a letter for help, giving away their location, and she's the one to kill him. As he dies, he watches her hop on the back of a horse with an enemy. [Betrayed ending]

Snow White would be revived, memories and emotions intact, however something goes wrong, and she's not strong enough to stay alive. It wasn't the spell so much as her weak will/body to remain alive. He's at her side immediately, holding her, pleading with her to stay alive and promising he'll do everything within his power to bring her back, when she stops him and says he needs to let her go. They have a very sad romantic heart to heart about how much they love each other, how they made each other happy, how she was glad she fell in love with him, how much Adam missed her and was beside himself without her. She will reassure him that he is strong enough to move on because one day when he passes, they will finally be together, and they will finally be in peace without the fear and threats of evil queens and raging armies. This gives him closure and allows him to finish grieving the life he always wanted but couldn't have. Due to all the evil, he's done and people's he's killed, there's a bounty on his head/a war coming for him, and Adam doesn't resist. When he passes, he finally gets to join Snow White in the afterlife. [Best Ending]

Hope this was enough of an answer. I swear when I write them out like this, I just want to write a few drabbles about them, actually going into depths with the scenes, but if I do that, I may never get my book written, lol. Thank you so much for this ask. It was enjoyable to write. ^_^

Worst Mother Ending.

Neko-Sufi: Hik... I.. I'm sorry!... Hik... My honey!.. *Sniffs* It's all... My fault!... I'm w-worst m...Mother ever!! 😭

This ending is about Neko-Sufi, along with Alice, Sylvia, Xilam, Rama, Louis and others visiting Principal's grave. She cried over her loss of her husband non-stop, saying it's her fault and worst mother ever. How did he died? Well, earlier, Principal was texting to his manager calmly, missing Alice and Louis so much. But, when it comes something horrible, he saw a message, revealing photo of Alice and Johnson getting married. As a result, he cannot handle his daughter getting married with Johnson as he starting to cough blood of massive worry. Neko-Sufi came back with complete smile and tells news about her daughter, she shocked when she saw her husband lying on floor, blood running out from his mouth.

Later on, Sylvia came back from highschool, was about to tell about her brother finishing his second grade. She gasped with complete shock, watching Neko-Sufi trying to wake Principal up until she saw photo on his phone. "This is not good.... At all 😥"Said Sylvia with worry, she dials ambulance number and shouted doctors and nurses to send Principal into hospital. Many moments later when they get into hospital, everyone are worried about Principal, waiting, wishing him to be okay. But Doctor Anon comes out from trauma room, with concern look on his face. Xilam asks "Is Sir Principal gonna be okay, Doctor? 😟" Then... Doctor Anon said "I'm sorry... But i'm afraid this is his last time to live... He's having worst risk of worry and jealousy... We tried to cure him, but risk is getting worse, losing all his blood from his mouth... So we have no way to cure him... 😔" that causes everyone to feel sadder, especially Neko-Sufi, Alice and Johnson who got married.

Doctor Anon letting everyone to enter trauma room so they can say last goodbye to him, as they walking and saw Principal strapped into coma, with oxygen mask on. Everyone are felt more sadder by watching him like that. "Oh jeepers.... Princibuddy, no... 😢" Said Filename2, his tears running down from his eyes. "I can't believe it... Y-you really...." Baldi could not endure these words, Xilam shouting "Dang it, Sir Principal! You can't die! We love you no matter what! I'm very very sorry for what happened! I know you can't stand your daughter to get married with Johnson! But Jonathan is not allowing him to do that!!" "Agreed with my brother", said Sylvia "I'm so sorry for what happened to you... And i also so sorry for what you being called "Father-In-Law" when clearly... *Sighs* They don't have father-in-law 😔" Upon hearing their apologies, Principal groaned weakly and opened his eyes slowly, everyone are relieved.

But still, he coughing blood through his oxygen mask, Neko-Sufi hugging him "You're awake, honey!!!" "Glad you're awake, Mr. Principal 😌" Relieved Rama. "Darling..... *Coughing weakly* I..... I'm sorry..... My time has come.... And....." Said Principal weakly, "Please don't say that thing, dad! I'm terribly sorry for being married with Johnson! I know you want me to stay with you and my mom, but! Hik... I'm feeling regret for what i did to ruin your life!!! 😢" Her tears running down from her eyes of shame, knowing Principal's favorite dream has been ignored, like getting Alice a job instead of boyfriend. "It was our fault, you know?... We promise we'll never do that again, we promise to not ruin your life ever again, Mr. Principal 😞" Principal touching his daughter's cheek, coughing blood still. "Folks, and my daughter.... Can i tell you something?" "Yes, Mr. Principal/Sir Principal/dad? 😢😢😢😢😢😢" "I want you all.... To not do suicide.... Just take care of yourselves.... Stay happy.... *To Alice* And break up with him..... Right... *Coughing blood through oxygen mask* Now...." Alice worried "Dad?... *Sniffs* W-we love you.... I..." Principal smiling a bit "I love you too.... And i love you all..... Folks...." And everyone saying back "We love you too, Mr. Principal/Sir Principal/Dad..."

Suddenly, the heart monitor beeping very long, which means Principal is dead, Neko-Sufi, Alice and Louis starting to shake him, but he doesn't answering, nor awake. They starting to cry for their loss "DAD!!/HONEY!!! 😭😭😭" everyone's eyes tearing up, some of them are crying, and some others are staying silent. Few hours later, this is where they visiting Principal's grave, Neko-Sufi crying over her husband's grave while Alice blaming Johnson "You're the reason why my dad is dead!!! I thought you better than this, but you keeping this up non-stop! 😠 Hik... I'll break up with you forever!!! 😭" Johnson starting to cry as well, because Alice broke up with him after Principal's death.

Loss Of Johnson Ending.

Angel! Johnson: I'm sorry... You guys, and brother... And Mr. Principal.... I'm sorry for calling you... "Father-In-Law".... It was my fault.... I understand Alice prefers to be single.... I know you don't need me... Anymore... *Sighs, tearing up* Luckily i'm not in Hell... I'm in Heaven... Now 😔

This ending is about Principal killed Johnson to death with Baldi's ruler, because he got called "Father-In-Law" by Johnson, which making him he couldn't stand it and blushed. Everyone are shocked to see him beating Johnson to death, until Jonathan saw his brother dead. He angrily approaches to Principal as he arguing with him to tell the truth. The fight between Principal and Jonathan went wild, some of them covering their eyes, and some others are felt disturbed.

Many moments later when they get into hospital, everyone gasped of shock after Doctor Anon said "I'm afraid to tell you this... We already tried our best... But i think this is his last time to live.... I guess it's time to say goodbye to him 😔" He letting everyone to enter trauma room where Johnson is bandaged and strapped into coma, with oxygen mask on. Everyone felt sad to see him like that, but Principal didn't come, because he's in house arrest. Jonathan hugging his brother, tearing up "No... My brother!! 😢" Johnson with his eyes closed said "I'm sorry....." It's all my fault.... I shouldn't call him "Father-In-Law".... But i love you....." "I.... I love you too, my lovely brother!" Suddenly, the heart monitor beeping very long, which means Johnson is dead, Sylvia sighs "I'm afraid.... He's gone... Now... 😔" some of them staying silent, some others tearing up. Angel! Johnson freed from his body and getting sent into Heaven to meet his parents.

Few hours later, Sylvia visiting Johnson's grave, putting flowers onto it. "*Sighs* Rest in peace, Johnson... I'll never forget about you in my heart.... Hope you can see us while you're in Heaven... 😔" And from now on, Alice decided to stay with her mother and Louis while waiting for her father to come back from house arrest.
