I don’t think it’s wrong that people respond Merry Christmas. If they celebrate it, they can say that, and they shouldn’t have a problem if he replies Happy Hanukkah. Me and my friend used to do that. I’m sorry you’re stressed. *pets*
idk, i suppose you're right, it makes sense. i think my problem with it is when people start with "this is america..." how much more obnoxious can this country get? this is the time of year when people are supposed to be "cheerful" and "giving", why not be conscious of one another as well?
i just don't want to offend people, at this point i literally just say "have a good day" unless it's one of our regular customers, because whether i say merry christmas or happy holidays, people get upset.
