Teenagers are fucking idiots and we all do things we regret. Maybe if you approach them about how emotionally abusive they were and the long-term effects their words had on you, they'd sincerely apologize. I was shit when I was a teenager. Maybe they've moved on, too.

BUT YEAH NAH THAT is an interesting proposal. you’re definitely right in that teenagers are Fools and that they’ve probably moved away from that behaviour. it’s been a long, long time since high school so i don’t doubt that they’ve changed :0

but i guess though, like... i don’t think an apology would be hhhelpful? like, even if they are completely sincere and remorseful, it feels like a the-damage-is-already-done kinda situation and their acknowledgement of ten-year-old beef isn’t gonna make My Issues any less of an issue, y’know? like, i don’t really hold any bad feelings toward them and if they like apologised apropos of nothing then i’d deffo accept that but, for me personally an apology doesn’t feel like it’d be a useful thing to seek out for myself, u kno what i mean?

YEAH that’s a good thing to keep in mind :0 i don’t think i’d TOO regretful if i ended up not going, but. i would wonder about what it would’ve been like. and in general i’m trying to do less of the turns-down-invitations-and-wonders-what-could-have-been thing and more of the just-goes-to-the-damn-thing thing, hahah SO. might as well, y’know? ty ty for the insight <3

Personally I feel like reunions are really neat opportunities most people don’t get to have. It’s a rare event that won’t happen again for a long time or maybe ever, and you get to see how people grow and change. Even if you end up not talking to anyone, just floating around observing is nice. Like a ghost coming to haunt old friends, or a “ten years later” scene in a movie.

GOOD POINT good point! i do like the idea of being a ghost… hovering in the background, drifting in and out, ominously chanting about people’s sins, was i there, was i not there, no one can be sure…….. 

but yeah nah i feel ya, something like this isn’t exactly an everyday occurrence so why not take advantage of it when it comes around? :0 the worst that can happen is that things are a little awkward and i get a little socially anxious, but. i ain’t gonna see these people again for at least another ten years, if ever, so. no big deal, might as well give it a shot!

Yup. It can do everything shy of talk, which would be just a step too far for Noir who’s somehow managed to acclimatize to all of this.
