1. Would you ever consider getting plastic surgery?
Hells to the effing no. I hate the idea of having to get surgery even for my health. To do it for cosmetic reasons... *insert gif of Tracy Morgan shaking head and saying no repeatedly* It gives me a mini-panic attack just thinking about it.
2. Name a country, city, or state you’d want to visit and what would you do there that you’ve never done before?
This is a hard one. There are SO MANY places I want to visit! How do I choose? I’ll say Japan because it’s near the top of my list. I want to be on an Asian drama! Hahaha, that would be so much fun. I’d also like go to a prince cafe or a maid cafe, an oxygen bar and see kabuki live.
3. If you’re a comic book fan (or not but are kind of familiar with a few comics) is there a female superhero you’d love to see in her own origins film?
Harley Quinn. I know she’s not a superhero but she’s my favourite female comic book character and I think her story would be an interesting one to tell. I’m not sure how much is really known about her life before she meets the Joker. I would love to learn more about her upbringing and really see the character be fully flushed out and become more human/multi-faceted. I still believe that Brittany Murphy would have played the perfect Harley.
4. Who was the musical artist that inspired you the most and why?
I’m not sure this person can really be counted as a musical artist, but he did star in a lot of musicals so I’m going to say Fred Astaire. He made me realize I want to be an actress – I wanted to do what he did (and I wanted so desperately to dance with him. Sigh).
5. Do you talk to yourself in the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, or walking down the street, or just in general?
Yes to all of the above, except I make it a point not to talk to myself in public. I enjoy performing so sometimes I make up monologues if I’m bored or create characters and scenes that they might be good in out loud to myself. Sometimes it helps with my writing and inspires my one-shots. lol. I’ll create entire conversations by imagining what Bonnie and Damon might say to one another in a certain situation (and I do it out loud...). I seriously need help. lol.
But I think most people are guilty of this to some degree. Maybe not what I do, but talking out loud to no one is actually pretty common.
6. Is there a show that has been cancelled that you loved watching that you wish hadn’t been?
Veronica Mars. I LOVED THIS SHOW! I was so upset when it got cancelled, but the movie comes out next year so... that’s a mighty fine consolation prize.
7. Did you think you can dance?
Yes I did. I used to take dance lessons, like a whole bunch of different styles, when I was younger, but I stopped. I wish I hadn’t, but I was worried about the strain it was putting on my mother financially. Le sigh. I was going to start learning Point the year I quit. I really do miss it.
8. What is the one storyline on TVD you would want to change or wish the writers had elaborated on?
I would change EVERYTHING (lmao), but if I could only change one thing I would start at the beginning with Grams death. I wouldn’t have killed her off so early, for several reasons. Like, what a waste of a great character. She could have been their Dumbledore. She taught Occult Studies at a university which meant she had a vast knowledge of the supernatural. Any time they needed to know something, they could have gone to her. Not to mention, she was the only character who actually gave a damn about Bonnie and would have put her life above everyone else’s. She should have had a chance to teach Bonnie more about magic, how to be a strong witch and how to use her gifts safely before she died.
9. If you could interview one famous person, who would it be, and what embarrassing question would you ask?
I’m not very good at coming up with questions so any question I ask is bound to be embarrassing, but I think I’d interview Johnny Depp. I love this man so much. I’d ask if I could be in the next movie he makes with Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter and if I could play his daughter in Pirates of the Caribbean 6. lmao. (I’m dead serious right now – I want to so bad).
10. What’s the one movie you hate admitting you like?
I’m pretty okay with admitting my likes and dislikes even when they’re slightly embarrassing. I’m sure there’s something out there better than the answer I’m about to give, but it’s the best I can think of right now. Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. I don’t even like the first Cinderella, but, as much as I hate to admit it, I find the third one quite entertaining. I really like it. I’ve seen it twice and I would watch it again.
11. If you could crossover characters from two different fandoms, who and why?
BBC Sherlock’s Jim Moriarty and Heath Ledger’s Joker. I think these two speak the same brand of bat-shit crazy. lol. It would be terrifying, but I’m curious as to what would happen if these two men were ever in a room together.
Coming up with questions was hard enough the first time, so this time I’m stealing inspiration for most of my questions (if not the actual question) from this lovely blog here: http://allysrandomage.blogspot.ca/2007/06/101-random-questions.html Full credits go to her.
