Facts:

His mother left when he was around age 7, due to the physical and verbal abuse of his father. Unfortunately, she left him behind, stating that she didn't want anything related to their marriage around her.

Kenji was heavily abused as a child. He was known for wearing long sleeves as much as possible due to cigarette burns, bruises, etc that often covered him.

Unsurprisingly, Sullivan was a projected outlet for his hatred for his dad, Kenji relating him to a particularly bad beating he received, accused of being gay with him. From there it evolved.

He was emancipated as soon as he graduated high school and was capable of getting housing in college. He never went back to his father, nor has he seen him since. He's heard rumors he died, though.

At this time, he has graduated college and has a steady job in engineering that he likes.

As he has a well-paying job, he lives very lavishly.

Undiagnosed BPD and narcissistic personality disorder

He is verbally abusive to his current boyfriend. He finds himself very easily jealous of others' interactions with him, but on the same hat, tells him that when he finds Sullivan, he'll drop him without a problem.

He is obsessed with Sullivan to this day (no surprise, he was obsessed with him for over 5 years). He reruns their interactions with one another and 'regrets' them. He wishes to find him and attempt a relationship with him.

Has hired a private investigator to find Sullivan for him due to Sullivan having no social presence, even on social media.

Hobbies: art (he is a surprisingly good artist), boxing, and tattoo art.

Explain to me why when I look for engineering jobs + internships + work experience, I am bombarded by stuff being titled as that but actually being IT + software development???
