My short thoughts on Nathanos after his last in-game cinematic.

Nathanos last words: oh tyrande, high priestess, night warrior, completely powerless to stop the comi- (throat slit)

My “personal” Translation: (chuckles) bitch, even if i die here by your hand...you still ain’t... and never will be...S H I T compared to who i serv- (throat slit).

This shit right here is why i fucking love Nathanos as a villain. he isn’t you typical “tragic” villain you see in almost every piece of fiction nowadays. 

he’s doesn’t want you to feel sad for him, he doesn’t want to be forgiven nor go through a tediously long Redemption arc. he is straight up ruthless, arrogant, nihilistic and is all n all, just a massive prick personality wise but he does it in such a cockily brash way that its just laughable to see. its like someone took kevin from ed edd n eddy, gave him a snobby british accent (as well as the attitude to boot) and put him in a dungeons and dragons group.

he continues act like this to the very end and thats what i love about him. he’s a character you just straight up love to hate. its almost as if he’s...oh maybe im just throwing a loose cricket ball her-A REAL FUCKING VILLAIN.

hope to see more of him in shadowlands...ya know if blizzard decides to use him again that is (fockin hope so). :)
