Truth be told, Elizabeth has got to be one of the most self absorbed human beings to have ever existed because Laura has not told her once but twice that little boy needs help. She ignores it so that she can have her time with Jason and all the while that child could have resentment and anger towards her for not finding him sooner and now lying to his father because he thinks he will go away just like all his other dads. BUT this is nothing new because Elizabeth has never really loved her children. She may care for them but that woman is not mother. She uses those kids as pawns in her twisted lies. She uses them to keep men and when she gets them, she tosses the kids aside and only pull them out to guilt trip the men in her life. So of course she is not gonna care about little Jake’s mental state because that can’t be used to manipulate Jake or benefit her. IT would actually require her to be a mother.
