HI I created a little Wizard of Oz x Mouthwashing crossover/AU :-)) it works a very similar way to the actual movie/play where Dorothy hits her head insanely hard and comes to appreciate the people in her life more/acknowledges that they have strength in the very things they “appear” to lack. This is probably more severe in the Jimmy situation lolll.

MORE TO SAY ABOUT THEM UNDER THE CUTTT

Jimmy is Dorothy… he is swept up in a tornado and ends up in Oz (because we say he’s Floridian he just thinks he blacked out and went to Disney… His individual apartment block landed on Mickey Mpuse 💔 listen there aren’t that many Mouthwashing characters) Daisuke is Glinda because he is so a bright guiding light princess witch who travels via bubble and represents the “goodness” (whatever 🙄) Jimmy struggles to choose. Daisuke is also Toto because I wanted more Daisuke time + Jimmy cares about and feels responsible for his well-being the most which is what goes on with Dorothy and Toto.

The other crew members are same sort of vibes to the movie where they’re exaggerated versions of their most prominent flaw/perceived flaw and is discovered that they had their potential inside of them all this time and it was up to them (via dream state Jimmy to recognise) to utilise their “missing brain/heart/courage” in their own ways … Anya is the scarecrow obvs because Jim (+ Swansea 💔) thinks she’s incompetent and she struggles with her nursing stuff, but she still is knowledgeable and skilful and is the one making smart decisions throughout the game.

Swansea is the tin man because Jim thinks he’s “heartless” (for being mad at him for making horrible decisions and monologuing at him) and he is kind of an asshole, but he uses his heart and care for others to make difficult decisions and sacrifices in the game.

Curly is the lion 💀 both from Jim’s perspective as he thinks he’s a pussy (ah I get it.., he’s a big cat 🐱) for not enjoying his title and the power he has over people as the captain, but also Curly is the coward for hardly doing anything to help protect Anya. His courage showing comes in the form of him jumping in to take charge of the ship when it’s crashing methinks

The Wizard is Polle and behind the curtain is a corporate suit 🙏 nyeehehehehh

WICKED WITCH SONIC

So does anyone remember this post from like a year ago? XD After I posted that, I thought "hey what if I made my own Sonic WOZ AU? The line art for this wonderful trainwreck of a hog has been done for a WHILE now and then I finally colored him today. We'll see if I actually have the energy to do more with this AU! Also, I wanted to give him a cool cloak or something to wear but I went absolutely wild with his burn scars and felt bad about covering them up, so I just. Didn't. I'll give him a proper outfit if I ever draw him again.
