hi! i'm starting to get into jean rollin and was just wondering what films of his you like the most? (i'm starting with Le Viol du Vampire just because it's his first feature but i gather it's definitely not great haha)
well i personally find it really great but then i’m a huge fan. i don’t know if starting with it would be a good idea because while it is very rollin and lovely, it is a bit disjointed (it was a short film that was later turned into a feature so it has 2 parts, plus it was a no budget movie made with friends). i’d say start with one of his better known movies like fascination or the iron rose! the iron rose was my first and i fell in love with it right away. or for a more horror experience rather than fantasy you could try the grapes of death or the living dead girl :-)
