If Kazuma was to be stuck on this island for the foreseeable future, getting a job was a must. He didn’t have his university to attend anymore nor the money of the Asougi family, and though he’d been generously granted a room in a townhouse to stay in, he still would need some source of income to support himself.
Of course, there was no other job for him than being a defense attorney.
And he did find a law firm, though an oddly named one. Edgeworth-Wright Anything Agency, was it? ... Why would they call a law firm an agency? And what was the anything- that they’d take on any case? Perhaps here, they had a... Different manner of naming their law firms here.
... It was also the only law firm he’d been able to find. If things didn’t go well here, he was out of luck. His skills, at least, he was confident about, but the law firm itself? Hopefully it would be a good fit for him.
Upon entering, he began his search at once for the door labeled with the name “Phoenix Wright.” Once found, he gave a few knocks on the door before opening it. What he saw inside the office was... Not promising- It was a mess. Though, much as he disapproved, that in itself was not enough to judge on the quality of the lawyer.
His best friend had proved as much to him.
“Good afternoon,” he bowed his head in greeting, “My name is Kazuma Asougi. I’m told I can speak with you about getting a job here as a defense attorney?”

“Oh, I agree. Comic sans is one of the best fonts. Why wouldn’t you use it for important papers?”

She looks around, confused.
She’s not in the hospital. She’s not even in Los Angeles. Everything is loud - too loud. There’s people all around her, people she doesn’t know.
Is this a dream?
She backs away and nearly falls backwards, catching herself at the last moment. She turns and looks and sees an enormous pitch-black pit, a hole in the ground with seemingly no end.
And that’s when she realizes it isn’t a dream.
That she’s outside.
That she’s alone in a strange city.
That she’s been kidnapped.
And that’s when she screams, an ear-splitting wail. She drops to her knees and clutches her head.
“T-take me back! Take me back!”
Yeah, she’s not getting in that taxi cab any time soon.

——- Art is a weaker spot, but that doesn’t make it any less inviting -- appetizing, in her case, as she’s chosen academia once again in the form of latte art. Spirale University is to her a new location, its rooms and halls unknown, but not for long. ( She’ll have to pay it another visit, maybe a class or two if they offer... )
Athena beams, hands cupped over her drink after minutes of careful concentration in swirling the steamed milk into the drink. She’s completed a circular pattern, for once even and smooth.
“I think I did it, Boss!” She holds it out, her masterpiece, herself a picture of joy for a significant personal victory. Whether he deigned to join her to humor her or out of genuine interest in a fun class, or both, Athena appreciates the company.

There is a man and a cat. The man is blond-haired, with his hair gelled up in a banana-like spike and he wears a red suit with a black shirt underneath. The man looks.... sad. His hands are covering his face and the only thing that can be heard are his sobs. The kitten knows his human is sad and he doesn’t understand why he is sad, but he wants to cheer him up, show his human that he is there for him. So, the kitten rubs his small head against the man’s legs and lies on the floor, exposing his belly in a playful way.
“Come play with me!” The cat meows and purrs loudly at the man, his big amber eyes staring at him in an irrestible way.
The lonely man finally notices the kitten and smiles at him. From what Sissel knew of humans, a smile meant they were happy, right? So was he succeding?
Yomiel grabs a feather toy and starts playing with his cat. Sissel just can’t resist chasing after the toy, hitting it with his little paws and nibbling at it whenever he gets a chance to catch it. The scene repeats itself, with the little cat grabbing the toy and the man in red laughing at the cat’s attempts. It was one of the rare moments Sissel ever saw his human friend really happy and he enjoyed it a lot.

You. Man with the stylish eyebrows.
[ Tagora held out a folder to Phoenix, it was quite full of documents. ]
Your comic sans talk really inspired me at my office, please, tell me what do you think of my absolute artistry?
Disregard the contents of the letter. It is outdated.

Dahlia had been walking through the streets of Spirale, still a bit confused about what happened to her. A moment, she was waiting to be executed, the other she was “magically” transported to this place she had never heard before. She couldn’t remember what happened, but nevertheless, she was grateful for still being alive and having a new chance at life.
None of the people here knew her, so Dahlia thought it would be easy enough to just forget about her previous failures and start a new life! No one to stand in her way to sucess, no records of her crimes, it was a perfect opportunity for her....
Until she saw a veeery familiar spiky-haired man just a few meters away...
NO WAY.
IT COULDN’T BE.
PHOENIX WRIGHT WAS HERE TOO???
The pathethic man Dahlia remembered from her college days was there in Spirale too for some reason. Way too much for her happiness... Her delicate hands grasped the handle of her parasol with pure anger... Until an idea crossed her mind. What would be a worse punishment for Phoenix if he knew Dahlia was still around?
“Aww... What a surprise to see you see here.” She said as she approached him carefully.
“Long time no see.... Feenie.”
