A Wrinkledrake update! Huzzah! Still working on those horns, but I'm making progress and all four should be ready for detailing after a little more cleanup.
A #wrinkledrake update--well, an update on the base I've been planning to sculpt for a while; last night I sat down and sketched this in Monster Clay. This is a very early WIP, but along with the wall plaque, the finished version will be one of the options folks will have for displaying this piece. Up next for this project is finishing detail and cleanup on the 'drake himself, and finishing the base and plaque. After that, it's on to moldmaking and casting. Good news is that I am on track to finish this dude with plenty of time to prep and pull plenty of casts for Monsterpalooza in April of 2020, and he will be available through my online store after that! An update on the Wrinkledrake's base; it has been coming along quickly and I am pretty pleased with how it looks. I'm mostly doing cleanup at this point and will be molding it soon. As far as my other projects, I'll have some updates soon! I am allllllllllmost done doing cleanup and detailing on Slouchy and will probably mold him in the same session I mold this base. Also included a lil cameo of the 'Drake. 😉

I’m pouring that second mold half pictured at the end of the set for the horns/spines today (prepping that bastard of a mold for the second pour has been the bane of my existence lately, but I managed to get it to submit to my will, finally 🤬😤💪👌). 🤞🤞More soon! 🤞
