An update on the Wrinkledrake's base; it has been coming along quickly and I am pretty pleased with how it looks. I'm mostly doing cleanup at this point and will be molding it soon. As far as my other projects, I'll have some updates soon! I am allllllllllmost done doing cleanup and detailing on Slouchy and will probably mold him in the same session I mold this base. Also included a lil cameo of the 'Drake. 😉
Some candy-colored dragon casts I'm assembling tonight. I'll be selling these and sharing more of my work at Son of @monsterpaloozaofficial (booth 92) which starts tomorrow in Burbank and goes through Sunday! I will be making whatever's left over available on my website next week, if anyone is interested in snagging one of these and can't make it to the 'Palooza.
Despite some entertaining silicone-related setbacks, I am happy to share that I managed to pull good casts from all three of my waste molds of Baba Yaga's hut on chicken legs, so now I'm sculpting some extra details, adding keys to the legs, and then some cleanup work, and I'll be ready to remold the wax masters, hopefully this week. May also have time to mold and cast up a few Bigwigs in time for #monsterpalooza, since that sculpt is nearly done. Scroll for a detail shot of his scratched and scarred-up phis'. More soon!

Imps by black light, then glowing, and then as faux gummy candy (unpainted casts in normal lighting). Pumpkin Imps will get inside and possess your jack o’ lantern if you don’t take proper care of it, and they also get up to plenty of mischief after Halloween has passed, too! A house with an Imp infestation should take extra precautions around Thanksgiving as well, since Imps have been known to reanimate thawing thanksgiving turkeys just for giggles. If you see that your turkey is ambulatory, it’s likely that you’ve got Imps!
This book looks great for the beginner on how to make moulds and resin casts! I know a lot of my followers want to learn that kind of stuff and this book looks friendly and easy to understand - I haven’t read it but the testimonials on the website are good.
