idk what about seeing them together in a quest did to my brain chemistry considering they've barely interacted so far, but i am going nuts

i was so desperate I dealt with hand cramps drawing this with my finger bc i lost both of my pens lmao. tbf I'm sleep deprived and haven't drawn anything in months. i miss pressure sensitivity tails, I miss it a lot.

anyway, does anyone have good ship name suggestions? wrionich or kinirio/kiniwrio are the best sounding ones I can think of right now.

Is it possible for you to do Wrionich? I just beg the day that Genshin makes Cryo X Dendro and call the reaction "Thorns" but its just the fact these two would probably be a cute pair.

I love hearing about OTP's, especially when they're rarepairs, so having Kinich and Wriothesley paired together? Good! I love this kind of stuff! [They were holding hands, but then i had to draw Kinichs' coat around his waist]

I freaking love me Wrionich. Its just Wriothesley x Kinich, but I just love this concept of a dynamic of person a (Wriothesley here) having a big scary dog vibe, can bite, will bite, probably has trauma, but definitely healed from it, and person b (Kinich here) being more of a feral cat who's slowly warming up and letting down every defense down slowly.

Okay, hear me out. There was an event in Fontaine that had Wriothesley and Kinich in the same event and I can't stop thinking about it.

I wouldn't say its love at first sight BUT I think for Kinich, seeing Wriothesley for the first time woke up something in him. But he shrugs it off, y'know, its just a feeling, it'll go away.

As for Wriothesley, he's obviously very friendly with Kinich but he knows what kind of person Kinich is. A person that separates his feelings from his work and thus, never gets attached to anyone. For Wriothesley, he did go down that path once but eventually grew as a person so people and connections his most important value, occasionally lamenting in his inability to trust in others.

So it starts off small, small talks and getting to know each other, Wriothesley praising Kinich for capturing the criminal without doing serious damage and Kinich just a bit awkward about it. Like, he likes this guy, but he really doesn't know how to interact with others well.

It very much is a work in progress, but the pay off is so worth it as Kinich does eventually just drop his guard around Wriothesley, both learning from one another. Some could assume it goes to making out, but in reality, a hand hold from Wriothesley can already turn Kinich pink, or getting his head trapped in Wriothesley's arm, makes him so flustered on the spot.

In terms of relationship, its baby steps and Wriothesley is ready for when Kinich is comfortable for the next step.

A bonus here: Assuming everyone in Natlan is semi close, when Kinich starts asking everyone there (like Ajaw, Citlali, Chasca, Iansan, Ifa, Kachina, Mavuika, Mualani, Ororon, Varesa, and Xilonen) about what is he feeling, they HAVE to tell him to his face "You are so down BAD." While for Wriothesley, it's kinda like the song "Made In Japan", like he likes that man from Natlan.

I can't stop thinking about the 5.6 livestream art and how good kinich looks with wrio. The potential of their encounter and relationship, the kind of dynamic they could possibly have and simply just how beautiful they look beside each other.

The moment my brain link two characters together it's done for me, I can't deny it its new dopamine source, but it also have to understand that in some cases it gotta create what it crave as the world may not share its views or the few ppl who might are still hidden from its sight.

Which in here lies the problem: it becomes lazy and refuse to produce anything that isn't perfect. I never search for perfection in other people works and I'm happy with anything the Fandom gifts yet I expect my own work to be perfect or I'll be crucified or something. Maybe the constant criticism that's been raising lately in Fandom spaces about fanfics, arts, cosplays... is what fueling this fear of making mistakes in writing or drawing in me.

Like lately I learned that a lot of ppl will drop a fic the moment they see a dialogue with the - instead of "" marks. And it made me feel like shit, cause the first languages I learned allow the use of any of them sometimes even both together and English was mostly self-taught so I didn't know about the strict difference only lately. But sometimes can't help but wonder if it's really necessary to be so picky when it comes to fanfics? They're free after all so bits of mistakes here and there aren't going to ruin the story unless it's some clear plot holes (even those I can personally tolerate).

(I went and checked some books written in my mother tongue and surprisingly the most used punctuation system is : – and for the 2nd language I learned is – )

To add more to this is I just found out that there's even a difference in the punctuation system between the British English and the American English.. how fun :(

I guess for my mental health I have to avoid TikTok comment section :v

Also the fear of misrepresenting a mental illness for example but if you think about it more, you write based on your or someone you know experience and each one have a different experience so the difference will be felt no matter what, and you cannot write a 100% accurate representation that everyone will be happy with so cut yourself some slack I guess. We can agree on some points but there'll be ones we don't.

Honestly writing about this now made me feel a bit better, even motivated to write some words in my wips.

Anyway let's go back to the main point, I want to start working on a one shot for them already but I also think it might be better to wait until 5.6 story and see how to go from there but what if my excitement dies at that point and I turn to a sloth again 🤔 I'm thinking also of adding Ifa x neuvilette to the equation cause a dragon's vet and a stabbed dragon stir some thoughts in me ⊙∀⊙
