it’s how they flirt ❤️
I found a really nice thread on twitter which I will share here:
Really enjoyed reading this thread because it accurately points out a lot of flaws with Natlan.
Chrysos heirs in my style! Pt.1
If I think about it, I've never actually seen the Traveler's clear moral stance on anything. It's because Paimon always makes the damn assumption that we'll help because that's what heroes do. (And we always say yes because it's not like the game gives us a choice lol.)
I do however think that the Traveler's decisions are more informed by the friends that they make.
I did see an angel Paimon theory on twttr once, and it really is similar to how Nicole prefers to spin fanciful tales of heroes and glory that makes me think it's a theory worth noting.
Making Dottore the scapegoat is so smart actually because that guy has like 20 extra versions of himself.
10/10 political maneuvering from Pulcinella.
I think maybe the problem with the Fatui is that the game is well aware that these guys are people who happen to be villains, but their humanization makes some players think that just because these guys are human makes them less of a villain.
Of course they're human! They have hopes, dreams, and sorrows, etc. But they still use their system to take advantage of others yk
But anyway. The world just works like that.
Tbh I don't like Fatui Harbingers fics where they're written like some kooky family. Thats literally the military-industrial complex and you genuinely want me to buy into this idea of the Fatui being like... A goofy loving dysfunctional family???
Bye! Smells like military propaganda to me!
The more interesting Fatui Harbingers take would be to make them the Tsaritsa's harem and they're all concubines vying for her favor (for their own selfish reasons of course). Would also make sense for their political dynamics too btw.
They could also be that shitty workplace that insists "we're a family" and give huge cuts to the higher-ups while giving the average salaryman little to no benefits.
Sometimes I wonder why Genshin just didn't go all in the Mexican Aztec culture for Natlan instead of cramming several other countries in there.
I mean. I guess the answer is pretty obvious, but still...
HSR 4.3 spoilers
Asat Pramad is a girl dad. He’s not the demon lord from beyond, he’s the father lord from beyond.
I’m not kidding, I’m not even joking. Asat is doing a really bad job when it comes to defying elation because just like the fools he has been using a mask (Ryusuke) to live aspects of himself he fet he couldnt
PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE PLEASE check out Arcadian chronicles volume 4 the motherfucker invaded our tabloid to give an interview and itd the funniest most endearing thing ever since aha THEMSELF.
I have no theories or conclusions, but something is very clear. Asat was every bit genuine when he was pretending to be Ryusuke. I will bet my life fed to the tumourous carcass that is shuhu that he wore a mask exactly for the purpose of managing to be a less shitty dad compared to his first attempt
Ik I've proposed before that Venti would be a Harmony Pathstrider, but Aha could also very well gaze at Venti and piss him the fuck off by sending a mask.
Makes me wonder if the Masked Fools and Mourning Actors are really so different from each other.
The irony of the the Elation being beloved for their ability to give joy to others, but the same Elation also laughs at your misery all the same.
The composition of HSR's in-game cutscenes always leave me in awe. Sometimes it feels as if the locations are designed like sets for the characters to move around in like actors. Not to mention that the cinematography and the framing helps the game feel cinematic even when the movement of the characters themselves are very limited.
It feels like an advanced version of the old fashioned Hannah-Barbera cartoons while implementing the techniques of staging in anime. Reusing and recycling animations while keeping each scene fresh by incorporating different shots and compositions to keep it interesting for the viewer.
Utilization of limited resources to create the illusion of grandeur etc. etc.
HSR - The Lethe Below the Living
I chose the more mature dialogue choice for Trailblazer and March started getting worried that the Trailblazer's growing maturity was a sign that she would get "left behind" and that we wouldn't click like we used to anymore. 🥲🔫
the different stellaron hunter pairs
Silver wolf+kafka= the subtle ones. If you need to slip undetected, the Combo of hacker and mind controller will ensure no machine or person sees them
Kafka + blade: the tall ones, the most likely to be assumed to be in a relationship, also only pair where blade has someone to help out with Mara struck stuff
Firefly +blade= the life and death duo. Most likely to come to a philosophical conclusion on the purpose of life
Firefly + silver wolf: the most overkill duo, if silver wolf is using 999. Also the most likely to find a loophole in the script I think
Silverwolf + blade: most likely to be assumed to be parent and child, unc plus gamer equals a funny dynamic, and also a surprisingly heartfelt one
firefly+ kafka: no clue
I'm ngl I'm getting the same vibes from the Tsaritsa's Fatui and Nanook's Lord Ravagers.
Something about using destruction to overthrow a specific power, but the methods disregard the welfare of everyone else.
Excellent antagonists in any case.
Just realized all the Statues of the Archons (+ Columbina) all have some kind of quote or saying on them except Zhongli's. See below.
Everyone else:
Zhongli:
Anyway.
I'm going propose a "False God Zhongli" crack theory.
I'm gonna be srs for a moment, being in the genshin fandom has not taught me how to be a good person.
