I am currently going in and out of the hospital for my vision and other illnesses, that is something that will affect the timeframes of everything as i live on a farm away from any major city, some days i spend colouring in the art, and others i spend writing if i can read it- it all depends on how my vision is that day and the side affects of the medication I'm on that is present at any given time
This also means I may be gone for a period of time, if something bad were to happen, I do have a family member with ccess to this account that i have told to release what WIPs i had left and open the account to whomever
It will not get to that point, so there should be no fear.
I take everything as advice first and foremost, so any constructive criticism is accepted and encouraged!
I aim to share my own culture with others through fiction and write using my own experiences as fuel so as with all Creators there may be a bias that I am unaware of that's present in my creations, so heed the tags and the content warnings

This is actually from the original first draft of Self-indulgence... it was going to go very differently to what it is now. the reason it changed was because i started writing the middle [what turned into the fic now] and realised the start did not match up, hahah...
I have a few of these I've saved, so I'll add them into the daily ecosystem :]
“Aether, come here.” he turns to face me “i just want to check something.”
He pulls a face
“Its nothing bad” I say with a sigh
“You said that last time, and you dunked me into the river” he utters with a grimace expression but still wanders over
“Thats because you smelt like shit.” I say flatly “hurry up.”
“I'm coming, im coming geez” he repeats, leaning against a large upturned root
I hold out my hand to his chest, seeing the golden halo that surrounds his body become brighter, a white strip forming along my fingers
“I don't know what you're doing” he says confused “am I supposed to like, puff my chest ou-gk”
He lurches as I grasp it, pulling it out from his chest, the glow fades leaving a book in my hands
“wh..?” he drawls out
I lean back with it, letting it open and unravel in my open palm. The world around us seemingly disappears as a teal like film and dandelions fill the bottom of our vision
My screens blinking to life beside me, while Aether looks around confused under a spotlight
“Reader?” His voice is quiet, soft, confused.
“can you not see me?”
“no- er, I don't think so” he twirls around in place “there is this, like, mist covering your face and you're not wearing the same outfit you were just a moment ago”
“Can you see the screens beside me?”
His eyes flicker away from my face, then nod
“What is this?”
I stand and walk closer, smiling as he doesn't back away. I held out one of the screens to him so he could see “I found these books in the library, something about being able to upgrade or assist in a person's abilities.”
“That's incredible!” his eyes light up “so this is an ability available within Teyvat?”
“well” I hesitate “not particularly”
“huh, so what is this ability, I've never seen anything like this before” his hands go through the screen as he reaches toward it
“Lisa led me toward the section they have devoted to the gods of this world. I figured if you were able to resonate with the statue of seven, you'd resonate with this, too.” I shrug “this God had coveted the ability to ascend their accolades and gift enhancements only special to this world”
“so you just decided to try this out yourself” he asks incredulously
“The thing is, the book was saying in reference to this god felt too specific. They had magical screens, and I have magical screens. They have the ability to only be perceived by those with special sight, and half of mondastat don't think I exist even when I stand in front of them.”
He shakes his head “what's this god called anyway”
“its that ‘The Creator’ one that Lisa told us about which is kind of odd-” i start, pausing when Aether snaps his face in my direction again
“The Creator- as in, the universal designer and eternal monarch of divinity, Aeon of Permanence ‘Creator’"
I look back to the notes I took “uhhh yeah, I think that's one of the titles used for him. THEM? you mentioned an Aeon actually, sorry…”
“that-” I take my hand, pulling him forwards “you’re the Cre-”
I cover his mouth “no. We are not doing this right now.”
He paws at my hand, ripping it off “Creator.”
“er! wrong.” I poke my tongue at him, ignoring that he can't even see my face right now “same powers, different people.”
“but-”
“no, trust me, if these guys were worshipping me, I would feel it.” I say tiredly “the titles are close, yeah, but that ain't me.”
“but you're a… god?” he says hesitantly
“...Yeah sure, let's go with that.” I cringe “I did not create this world, the grass beneath your feet nor the air you breathe, im literally just like you bud”
He doesn't look convinced
“would your Creator push you into a lake after telling you you smell like shit”
He deflates and lets go of my hand “...alright, fair.”
“Great, now let me ascend you.”
He throws up his hands “seriously, if I were anyone else, I would not believe you.”
“Well excuse me, do you want to be able to fight the hypostasis?”
“admit you're a god.”
“I am not a god.”
He makes a face “I don't believe you”
“You're unbelievable.” I say dryly, conjuring forward the few materials he needs to ascend “I thought you didn't even believe in this God?”
He shrugged, “you made it sound cool.”
I rolled my eyes, holding out my palm, the mora floating out of the sachet on my hip to swirl around him. Slowly, the other item began lifting, a golden light enveloping each of the pieces before shooting at Aether and sinking into his skin
“...”
“You good-”
“Reader. What the fuck.”
“Ae-”
“You injected me with a rock, y- that was real mora!”
"Deep within the nation of love in the courtyard of the Fae, your image shall forever be preserved in the memory of the Tsaritsa. She will make us immortalised in her graveyard of pawns"

Heres the bottom 12 squares without the deathsquares on top. The first 6 are all individual unique segments from our normal set, 4/5-ish of which are from the 6.6 update, aka. 18 [square 1], 25 [square 6], 34 [Square 3], 45 [square 4], and 65 [square 5] - 8 and 35 are still alive as Zeta and Beta.
that last set of 6, however, are not really segments but a visual progression of our dearest Zandik over the years with a death stare. since his release, I've been thinking of him a lot
Segments have the earrings - Zandik does not. The [Masterlist] has been updated to reflect the changes. All segments can be asked about including the 'dead'. The format maaaay be different to normal with them, though.
The only segment that had been affected by the update is Prime for obvious reasons, but I've worked with it - the new cheatsheet will fix it. because of the increased number of segments, i will be extra diligent with their colour coding
Dont give him free reign to nibble. He drools like a dog...
I thought the bulk art haul of the segments would have set me free, i was wrong... i will be doing shitpost chibi segments x reader comics like this until it does [Dottore Masterlist]
Do you think the segments held their own "welcome to the harbingers" ceremonies, seeing as it was a form of adding new members to his family? Do you think some of Dottores segments never stopped doing these events even when the others ire of him grew? Do you think Dottore had grown affected by his empty nest?
Todays update - The scene from one of the chapters where Neuvillette assists Reader after they collapse, baizhus in the back. i really liked how this came out at the time, and i do want to re draw this scene in particular. drawing different scenes from the series also has been a thought the past few weeks :] Enjoy the rest of your day!

At first, i thought they came all the way from Fontaine- we'd just started learning about the other nation and its ocean life. However, Father was quick to note that he didn't recognise the species either. we never saw them again afterwards, but i still think of it now and then."

Todays' update - An old scrapped piece of a Tighnari x Reader x Cyno drawing that got corrupted before i even started the fic, so now all i have is this screenshot. and then the finished art piece for Al-haitham Appreciation fic i wrote when that man first released where what i wrote got corrupted, so i just posted the art on my old account... and then that got yoinked by Tumblr :[ i admit i do have a lot of old old works that never got posted that's genshin, but no doubt im revisiting them and remixing it to fit it
I was also asked privately how i write both the fics and headcanons by another looking to start themselves which I'll add to the daily updates, so I'll also add a section where i include my writing WIP's
I won't include an essay every time, but these are some of the tips[?] i gave that may help anyone who reads this too, or to show some of my writing processes and decisions :]
Slice of life and world building is a main component i work with
in the new arc i make a point to establish the adventerers guild as the current progression point for Reader
so what better than selecting quests from in game to give Reader a motivational force - that way, there is a goal to aim to every second chapter and involves numerous characters you wouldn't normally be able to have if youve written yourself into a walll
writing it badly is better than not [cough* the second one *cough]
you do not have to sit there and write paragraph after paragraph in chronological order. you can infact, skip, and write the scenes you want to and come back to the in between
when i think of a section, i take a second to bring up my doc to barf it onto a page with any detail i can think of, then return to whatever im doing.
same with editing older things - as i play the game and something interesting pops up i take a screenshot and drop it into my masterfile for later review
you can rack up a lot of stuff this way. i dont always use every part, but it helps when trying to figure out how to write certain characters and explore dynamics and thought processes - Ie. Raiden Ei to Raiden Shogun.
Because I have a focus on headcanons and inconsequential tidbits/pieces of info over years that won't make it into final drafts because of its relevancy, rather it gets turned into all these different daily updates,
Dont burn yourself out to make something new every single day, i am not a good example of that

Alright, these are the two masks i have for Zeta [Dottores' Child Segment] and Kappa/Ursa [Dottores' Teen Segment] - Zetas mask is based on the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss in Sumeru, i have a little bit of the reason why [Here]. Kappas mask is based on Ursa the Drake, the Dragon slain by Webttore in the comic, i dont remember if i have posted about Kappas' full creation, but some of it can be read on that same link above or through the fic.
The next update for this will be the complete set. There are other WIP's that will take its spot. I spent way too long on the shading for the masks...
I compiled how i came up with these segments initial designs and their development over the past few months, including the reference images i use for some of the aesthetic designs used in outfits, colour palattes, how im writting them fighting and other headcanons all pre 6.6 update.

The second pages' WIP where Zeta, Kappa [Ursa], Redacted, Mu, Foxttore and the Sprites [Dottolings] - all of them at different stages of completion - figuring out a design for a mask for Zeta is slightly difficult, running through about 6 iterations but the other two have their own already sketched out. i'm also writing a short Dottoling fic around a headcanon i have around them. [Not fluff, it is Horror semi-gore]
also, the other losers have clothes on now, and i can move on to the above with more focus :]
