Hiya! I'm a female training currently in Taekwondo and I've had a broken leg for the past while from a bad fall. Thankfully that was the only thing injured but before the accident, I was very active and flexible. Do you have any tips on how to "get back in the grove"?😂 What little excercise and training I do is very limited and I know I'm losing progress already. Thank you so much! You're so awesome!❤
I think you should ask your doctor for a referral to a physical therapist where you can talk to them about maintaining as much flexibility and strength as possible without aggravating your injury, which could slow it’s healing or cause it to heal incorrectly. When you see the physical therapist as for safe exercises and stretches for you to do while you wait to heal.
Also, perhaps you could practice wrist locks and arm blocks while sitting down with your leg propped up. That way you will keep the leg still but still be able to practice the arm movements to maintain that skill level.
