This tasty almost-new looking Barlux from the late 60's likely sat in someone's drawer from the day it was purchased since it didn't run at all. There was a teeny hair-sized piece of metal lodged in the gear train which I discovered on tear down. Otherwise, the movement is pristine and was a pleasure to refurbish. It had an Arabic day dial which I replaced with its English counterpart, and after adjustment and regulation is keeping excellent time. What do you think, @do-over?
