The released argument scene was so good. Frustrating that Robby walks away but also expected of his character. He doesn't want to take his own advice. He just wants to give it out to people. Hopefully they make up. I don't think I could wait until next January to find out if they're okay or not.

Arguably I’m answering this after the finale has aired but I haven’t seen it so it still counts.

I also think I’m going to have a hard time with them not reconciling at the end of the season but…it’s been what, less that three hours once their original argument? I don’t think that Frank is ready to face the reality yet. He’s going to deflect the shit out of this, because that’s the kind of person he is. Deflect, deny, over and over until the problem disappears. And if it doesn’t?

That’s when it starts to get real.

Hmmm. So, it appears someone had a similar idea to my own self-insert way of being in Band of Brothers. I may give that fic a try.

Not saying theirs is or isn't a self-insert. Just that mine absolutely is and happens to fall along a similar line of thought.

Submit your writing - tips

I’ve been submitting poetry, fiction, (and a whole ass book) to magazines and websites. While I still don’t know if I’m any good at querying, I have been published twice on two different mags, so I thought I would share the tips that helped me!

Polish

First thing first: prepare your piece! Write something in your best voice/ style. (I’ll do a separate post about what exactly is more probable to be accepted or sold).

Then, make sure your manuscript:

has page numbers

is generally typed in 12 pt Times New Roman (or follow their guidelines)

‘s first lines are indented (this doesn’t work for poetry! Indent only if you want in that case)

is as perfect as you can get it

carries your name and title of the piece on every page. Ex.: Name Last Name / Title / 1

is double-spaced. This works [keep reading]
