Like what you do.
Yes. Writing is hard and at times you are going to wonder why you are doing this and you’ll probably give up a little bit.... LISTEN to yourself when this criticism appears, but do not quit. If you don’t like what you are writing, don’t persevere regardless, persevere, with intent. Make it something to like. Like what you do. Do what you like. You might not always actively enjoy it, but if you don’t like what you are writing, then, most likely, that distaste will carry through into your writing and it will be unlikeable.
Don’t be afraid of change.
If you don’t like what you are doing, then change it.
